With the empire now off their backs, Forge Eizo welcomes Anne as a permanent member of the family! Eizo offers to buy everyone gifts as rewards for their hard work, but they suggest something else—each member of the household gets to spend an entire day alone with him. Meanwhile, Camilo informs Eizo of a commission request from an unexpected Marius! The count is finally getting married, and he wants a set of custom wedding rings. Just one problem—Marius wants them made from meghizium, a rare and expensive metal that only a handful of blacksmiths in the world can manipulate. Eizo is excited for the challenge, but the atmosphere turns dire when a fairy named Gizelle appears and asks for his aid in curing a disease. Our humble blacksmith already has his hands full with the wedding bands...but “Doctor Eizo” also has a nice ring to it!
Eizo's quiet life as a blacksmith with his family continues, crafting with new materials and helping until that point unknown neighbours. It is a nice calm slice-of-life story which should not come as a surprise considering the title and this being the 7th volume in the series. The characters are likeable and the interaction entertaining, even if at times there is a bit of a culture clash when Eizo acts a bit too timidly for my liking. The epilogue at least suggests he stops with that ridiculous excuse of not wanting to cause ripples to keep his distance from those close to him. So, all in all, a good entertaining read that fit my expectations.
Eizo’s quiet herbivore life continues as usual. The wedding and fairy stories were pretty entertaining. With the arrival of summer, we come to the realization that the whole series up until this point has taken place during a single spring, which is ridiculous (maybe they have Westerosi seasons). I enjoy the blacksmithing aspects of this series but I feel like there is too much missed opportunity in general. Epilogue felt like a weak solution to a lot of the problems I have with this series. It seems obvious who he will end up with based on his wish for a cat companion to his life, but there should be more effort put into building this up.
This was more about character development. Didn't add much to the overall plot line but it does seem to be setting us up for something. Though I see no bad guys in the future there are a couple of set up points for that. The epilogue is crap and the editor just should have cut the whole thing.
The Epilogue kind of ruined it for me as I thought it was an Omake at first, but nope, it's a true Epilogue and thus likely later canon... Lost a star for me.

I find this to be a stellar example of a fantasy Isekai, I rather enjoy wedding volumes in the various light novels I have read. A wedding always brightens ones day.
