The third volume of Alley Oop daily newspaper strip reprints from publisher Acoustic Learning covers calendar year 1935. The contents are "Lem Invades Moo," "King of Moo," "Swept Away,", "The Republic of Moo," "Foozy Wanderer," and "Flight." Much of the action revolves around King Tunk of Lem's efforts to invade Alley's home of Moo. Writer/artist V.T. Hamlin maintains a solid balance between action and humor throughout. The strips can get a bit wordy at times, but the black-and-white art is excellent and is sharply reproduced from the best possible sources, with only a handful of strips being a bit muddy.
