Although I know it isn't fair for me to 'review' this before I have finished reading it; Since Joey Yap is the ONLY writer on Classical Feng Shui I could find that seemed truly make an effort to learn and teach what it is truly about. Including how it was started, how it was developed over the centuries and the impact it has had on Chinese culture over time, I wanted to post this review which I will update when I am done reading it.

I have read almost every article he has written in English and I'm amazed at how truly authentic he seems to be. For those of you who have read my other reviews on Feng Shui books you will know I don't hold much credence to 'western style' Feng Shui from personal experience. I have also shared how I was Skeptical about Feng Shui in general after the lack of results I had with it. After attending a seminar on Classical Feng Shui and Finding Joey Yap's work I am a conformed Feng Shui enthusiast, however ONLY for the Classical/Authentic Feng Shui and the other Chinese art forms that enhance it such as Bazi (destiny) charts & Mian Xiang (face reading).

If your are looking at Feng Shui as something 'fun' to try to make your home feel more 'Asian' or 'Simple' Western Feng Shui may be an option for you. But if you are serious about using this tool for how it was developed and willing to put the effort into studying it or higher a Classical Feng Shui consultant - you will be able to experience Feng Shui at is highest intent.
