Scott Hahn

A former Presbyterian minister, Hahn converted to Catholicism in 1986 after an intense personal and theological journey, which he details in his popular book Rome Sweet Home, co-written with his wife, Kimberly Hahn. Hahn holds the Father Michael Scanlan Chair of Biblical Theology and the New Evangelization at the Franciscan University of Steubenville, where he has taught since 1990. Like with all books in this series, Hahn and Mitch have done an excellent job (Job?) providing an exposition of an Old Testament book. An informative introduction, several word studies, a helpful chart and excellent study questions round out a must-have volume for anyone interested in going deeper into Job.

Very great study bible perhaps the greatest notes but I am still human and lacked complete understanding. I am very human and was extremely frustrated at points with my misunderstandings but I was happy to be comforted by some wonderful clarification in the notes. Admittedly Scott Hahn and Curtis Mitch can be too smart sometimes and make even the notes difficult occasionally but in this specific book they were much more down to earth. Job is a strong great piece of the Bible that's brought many comfort and emotional maturity.
