Each person is uniquely created by God, one-of-kind, with a special purpose and calling for his or her life. Through Fingerprint 40 Devotions to Help You Realize You Are a Kid Uniquely Created by God for a Purpose , kids will gain a firm biblical foundation to help them recognize that God created them, loves them, and that they have worth and value to God and others. By using this devotion, kids will discover that God’s fingerprint is on them through (a) creation, (b) through salvation by asking Jesus into their hearts and (c) through the Holy Spirit living in them. They will also discover how they can become God’s fingerprint to the world by the way they live and serve God through their individual gifts, talents, and callings.

Sandra has been a teacher and an award-winning writer for most of her professional life. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education from Santa Clara University and a BA degree in English from West Virginia University. She taught elementary students with learning disabilities as well as high school English and journalism. As a journalist and travel writer, Sandra has published 700+ news stories, profiles, travel stories, lifestyle and feature stories for 20+ publications.
She is a member of SCBWI, AWSA, BRMCW, Serious Writer’s Club and Cape Fear Camera Club.

Sandra lives in coastal North Carolina, and enjoys spending time with her husband, their daughter, son-in-law and their adorable Frenchie. Fingerprint Devotions by Sandra Chambers perfectly matches the 8-12 age group in length, interest, and variety. I must confess, though, even as an adult, I found this book inspirational and thoroughly enjoyed it, too! This sweet book captures the magnificence of the world God created, where He knows everyone personally. The message that God has blessed each individual with gifts will encourage kids to reflect upon their own unique gifts and think about how to use them to make the world a better place. Exceptionally written, this core message is delivered lovingly and gently. Interesting ‘Fingerprint Facts’ are interwoven into the 40 Devotionals with accompanying prayer and journaling suggestions in a just right layout. Prayers are an ideal comprehension level for this age range and very meaningful, such as: “. . . Help me remember that You know me by name and that You care about me.” This interactive book will educate, promote healthy self-image, and help to raise strong, confident kids.

What a wonderfully unique devotional for kids ages 8-12! Filled with Scripture, fun fingerprint facts, interesting science trivia, journal prompts and prayers. This devotional will help young readers engage with God's Word in a fun and meaningful way. They will learn to walk in their Psalm 139 identity, understanding they are fearfully and wonderfully made by God for a good purpose. This is a message kids need to hear! Perfect for family devotionals, homeschool groups, Sunday school and small group lessons as well as personal time alone with God. I highly recommend!

Interesting facts about fingerprints—not just humans, but fingerprints from all kinds of God’s creatures—pairs alongside meaningful scripture, devotions, and prayers to implant a gentle, much needed message in children that they are fearfully and wonderfully made by God, whose plan and purpose for their life is never failing. Sandra Kay Chambers engages kids (and adults, too) with an exceptionally written message that will create conversation and inspire readers to embrace the amazing love of the Creator. My children enjoyed this so much, I also purchased for a friend’s kids.

Fingerprint Devotions is a devotional book for middle grade readers with just the right ingredients to keep them interested and reading. Each entry includes a brief devotion with an applicable Bible verse, fingerprint facts, an opportunity for journaling, and a brief prayer. Sandra Kay Chambers hit it out of the park with this well-written, creative devotional book for kids. I highly recommend it!

This is a lovely book of devotions for children and tweens where they learn about some of the scientific facts and history of fingerprints as well as seeing who they are in God. It is a great devotional to help students grow in their relationship with God and work to find his purpose in their life.
