Christmas Murder Cover-Up by Shannon Redmon! This was another great story with wonderful characters, that will keep you reading and turning the pages to see what is going to happen next! As this story will keep you up late at night it is a suspense and inspirational story! I highly recommend. I received a compilatory copy and this is my own honest opinion. You won't be disappointed!

It's time for the Christmas reads to make an appearance and I'm so happy they are out.
Shannon Redmon pens a widely fantastic suspense storyabout Liz Burke who is a narcotics office and Oz Kelly the homicide detective who teams up with Liz to help her on this case.
Unfortunately, Liz couldn't save the confidential informant who was helping her on this case. A professional assassin took the informant out, Killed for no reason than to help others.
Liz narrowly survives with her life and she has no recollection of the killer or what happened.
Enter Oz Kelly the homicide detective who comes along to help her figure this case out and to keep Liz safe from these bad people won will do anything to keep their ring of crime going.
This is a fantastic read mixed with a lot of danger, sweet romance and a lot of action.
This makes an excellent gift as a card for a sick friend or for a present.

Widower and Detective Oz Kelly also has his share of emotional trauma. His own drug dealer/user brother killed Oz’s wife.
Now Oz and Liz are paired up looking into the murder of her confidential informant. But someone has also made Liz a target…who? As they face attacks while trying to solve the case, they grow closer. But with each of them having made promises to themselves about finding love again (or NOT finding it), can the Lord crumble the walls they’ve built around their hearts and forge a path to a life lived together?
You will definitely want to find out! I loved this page turning story and am sure you will, too.

Christmas Murder Cover-Up was an exciting book. I read it in 2 days it was such a page turner.
I loved how the book had an exciting start, and it keeps you reading until the end. Along the way, there are some fantastic twists. The ending was a total surprise. Which is something I like. The characters Liz & Oz both have painful pasts but still work well together to solve the case.
As usual, Shannon Redmon didn't disappoint.

I love the fact that this book has a strong female character. Detective Liz Burke has lost her memory of the attack that has now put a target on her back. Detective Oz Kelly is there to try and keep her safe and they both have to stay alive to figure out what happened.

Action packed from page one. Suspense and mystery that will keep you turning the pages. You can’t ever let the past define you. When Oz and Liz work together they can accomplish a lot.

Running for your life gets new meaning in this action-packed mystery. Liz Burke is a narcotics detective who comes back to her confidential informant's apartment to find her dead on the floor. Her assailant is still in the apartment and she is attacked. Due to a head injury, she does not have full recollection of the attack. This will not deter someone from trying to end her life. She now has a target on her back. Oz Kelly is a homicide detective who is trying to help with the case and keep her alive. As they attempt to solve this heinous crime and find out who wants Liz on a morgue table, they will encounter many dangerous situations which will leave your hair standing on end. There was one scene in a swimming pool that literally gave me chills. It was quite the scary encounter.
This mystery is complex with many moving parts and many suspects. It an adrenaline laced mystery which will pull you into the story from the first chapter. Shannon Redmon is a brilliant author who knows how to make her characters come alive and pull you into the pages of her books. My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Christmas Murder Cover-Up. This is a really great story and I know you are going to love it. Shannon is a fairly recent author for LIS. This is her fourth book for them. I look forward to reading her next book. This one is well-written, action-packed, and full of faith. I know you are going to love it.
Narcotics Detective Liz Burke answers a call from her Confidential Informant. She goes to the woman's apartment. Tillie tells her Clive, her boyfriend, says there's a professional hit out on her. She tries to talk Tillie into WITSEC but she refuses. Liz goes to the corner market for food and finds her CI's dead body when she returns. She is attacked and left unconscious. When she awakes she can't remember what happened.
Homicide Detective Oz Kelly leads the tactical team up the steps. He finds a dead young woman and Liz. He has seen her around the office but has not met her officially. The other officers have tripped all over each other to date her but Oz isn't one of them, losing his wife was difficult enough. He's not going to go through that pain again. He must find out what has happened here but Liz doesn't remember.
An exciting journey to find answers to their question and to find the killer before he finds Liz. God has a plan for these two broken souls, a plan for hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. A good plan for peace and not for evil. Give Him your heart and watch Him move in your life.

Christmas Murder Cover-Up by Shannon Redmond is the perfect suspenseful page-turner you need to bring you into the holiday season. Detective Liz Burke has just had her informant killed when she was on the job to protect her. Unfortunately, it now looks like she has become the killer's new target. She is partnered up with detective Oz Kelly as they try and figure out this whodunit without them both becoming killed in the process.
I really love romantic suspense and this one certainly had me on my toes. I didn't figure it all out until the very end. It was that good. It pulled me in and I couldn't put it down until I read The Dear reader letter. Haha. My favorite part of every Love Inspired book. I love this peaceful town of Mills Creek and I hope that we get to visit it again. There was no epilogue which makes me sad, but it did end in a great way. I wasn't too disappointed. If you are looking for a book that will keep you guessing then look no further. It's definitely a roller coaster of a ride. I was given a copy, but all opinions are my very own.

How can I describe this book ..... Outstanding and top suspense plot. This story had me turning to every noise I heard and I must say I LOVED IT.
Shannon Redmon outshines in this story of forgiveness as she brings together Detective Liz and Detective Oz together after an attack leaves a fatality and Liz with a slight memory loss.
The way the author pulls together this action packed non stop thriller of a story mixed with faith you'll want to know who is behind these fatalities that keep increasing while the Liz is still alive and leaving in the clean the one that you suspect is the bad one. And when a twist and detour appear, you are left with a mysterious and yet unexpected twist of a story for its ending.

Two stars for “okay.” I liked Liz even though she had a bad case of Too Stupid To Live, and the hero Oz apparently had some sort of invisible armor the way he’d bounce right back up and be fine after serious injuries. I also wasn’t quite sold on the strong instalove and even the bad guy. Wasn’t a bad read, just a sloppy job that had enough promise to show it could have been a lot better. Especially I found it tragic that they just waltz around town, refusing to let the other police protect them, and head right into a crowd as though they aren’t being hunted for their lives; the collateral damage is no surprise.
I’ll read more of this author, but hopefully she gets a better content and typo editor for the next story. :)

If you like a book that will keep you guessing until the very end, this book is for you! Not only is there suspense, there are informants, assassins, gang members, and detectives who have their own past to deal with - and that is in the first few chapters!!! And just when you think you have it figured out - and can catch your breath - a twist comes at you that will change everything! This is a definite must-read if you like mystery/suspense books. This was a page turner that you didn't want to put down. Meet narcotics detective Liz Burke who is too late to save her confidential informant from a hitman. Liz narrowly survives the fight with the hitman. Now she has no memory of the killer and she's now the target of the hitman. She joins forces with homicide detective Oz Kelly to help solve the mystery of who killed her informant and who is after her now. Will they survive long enough to catch the killer and unravel a deadly cover-up. This was packed with lots of suspense and kept you on your toes. Highly recommend! Great job!

I thought this book was excellent. There was never a dull moment as the police attempted to solve the murder of a young victim.

I enjoy this story a lot! I love Christmas stories and especially a those with twists and turns complete with a great dose of danger and romance.
Great book to keep you turning the pages to find out the ending and wow, will you be surprised. I highly recommend the book. In fact, order a second one for a friend for Christmas.

A really sit on the edge of your seat book. Easily a 5 star read. Liz Burke is a narcotic agent. She has promised to keep her informant alive. After failing to do this, she vows to find the killer with the help of deceive Oz Kelly.
The killer is after Liz. Oz vows to keep her safe. After shootings, wrecks, swimming incidents Liz and Oz are trying to solve this case before either of them are found dead.

A really great read considering it is billed as a Christian suspense/romance. This author is not afraid of facing the hard issues the exist in our society: domestic violence, grief, drugs, murder, and corruption. Bringing faith into it gives the story a direction and purpose.

I loved the premise of a clean, thriller and the storyline definitely provided that. Unfortunately, the type-os were very distracting (MC Liz was typed “Liv” more than once) and general plot twist became so confusing I wondered if I’d missed something but alas, the writer just wanted to add twists and it didn’t always land.

What a literary ride! It was difficult to put this down for long. There were murders and attempted murder towards Liz and even Oz. They were both cops trying to find out who murdered Lizzie (Liz’s informant). The novel was very well written and I want to read this author again.
