I like the binding and design. There are some interesting stories in the first section, strange stories from a Chinese studio, but it tapers off tomorrow fables pretty quickly. I skipped to head to the fairytales and it’s a similar story.
I was really hoping to discover some thing about the unconscious in folklore, as with the similar Barnes & Noble treatment of Grimms fairy tales.
Still, I will keep it on my shelf because it is pretty and cheap and lovely.
BTW I do prefer the older style, which are so slapdash that they don’t even have a title page. It really helps with the illusion that this book magically appeared and is unmoored from time.
