DRIFTER #4 CVR A KLEIN (MR) IMAGE COMICS (W) Ivan Brandon (A/CA) Nic Klein A killer is loose in Ghost Town and monsters roam the streets. Every step Pollux takes towards the truth brings him closer to the grave.
DRIFTER by Ivan Brandon, Nic Klein Described as blending 'Unforgiven' with 'Dune', it's a western-themed 'Mad-Max' dystopian sci-fi with elements that remind me of some of George R.R. Martin's early horror.
4 – AN UNDERSTANDING
“The quiet's worst of all. And then the cold. And then the ache. The things I don't know multiplying.”
So far this seems to be: shocking event cliffhanger then moves on to something seemingly unrelated to throw another cliffhanger at you. The want to know what in the world is going on is not worth skimming through things that seem uninteresting and unrelated. Not the series for me, didn't quite grab me enough. The characters didn't amaze me, and trying to figure out what's really going on isn't enough to sell me on a series.
