The book is dense and virtually unreadable to any but an advanced, theologically academic audience. Webster’s approach to the topic of holiness is through the orthodox prism of Trinitarian theology. He connects the relationship of holiness to the Church and believers through the offices of each member of the Godhead.
Extremely dense and technical. I understand the importance of academic works, but if one is so complex that it takes multiple readings of a paragraph to understand it, it is too much. Good truth, just a shame it's so hard to access it.
Webster offers a concise, rich and invigorating meditation on holiness. This book will surprise and delight readers who approach from a posture of faith seeking understanding.
