Rate this book
A 100 day devotional bible journaling adventure by New York Times Best-selling author and actress, Candace Cameron Bure. Set out on a 100-day journey to find overwhelming peace—a peace that only comes from resting in God’s joy and relying on His strength and loving resources every day.

Like so many of her fans, Candace Cameron Bure works hard to juggle the day-to-day challenges of being a woman, a wife, a mom, a working mom, and most importantly, a daughter of God who longs to point others to Him. Her desire to live wisely and love
well—a desire shared by the hearts of millions of women who have followed her career in the spotlight—has motivated Candace’s first-ever, 100-day devotional journal, which gives women of all ages a chance to pause, reflect, and explore the different ways they can press in to the joy and strength God makes available to us all each day. Writing in her signature open-hearted style, Candace warmly invites her spiritual sisters to join her in discovering how God can become every woman’s joy, every woman’s strength, no matter how hectic or hurried her life may be.

I honestly don’t know that I’ve ever finished a devotional book before. I always get bored or distracted - but this one was different. Maybe it’s a combination of the book’s content and my life’s season. I’m not 100% sure. All I know is this was excellent and perfectly timed in its arrival on my doorstep. It’s bittersweet to have come to the end of this book.

The Lord is faithful. His joy is my strength when I have neither joy nor strength of my own.

FABULOUS way to start each day. These simple lessons help me align with God each day. Extra refreshing as a mom of 5 who works from home and has trouble balancing the chaos. Thanks Candace Cameron Bure!

I really loved this. I don't typically go for devotionals or books that you write in, but the journal aspect of this worked for me. I used the blank space to write a prayer every day. Some devotionals were a bit short. Some really sparked interest and good points of view for me, as well as including some personal information from Candace's life. I would definitely read more devotionals and books by her.

I enjoyed this little devotional journal. Started a little cheesy, but got better.

What a lovely daily (or for me, on days when I could fit it in) companion full of encouragement, Bible verses, and heartfelt prayers. I love that it featured all three along with room to write a response or scribble down a prayer. Most devotionals I've read that are designed to be relatively brief don't include a reflection portion, and I really enjoyed that.

It was a good devotional but not deep into the word of the lord as I would have liked

Wonderful book with insights into life's struggles and self imposed views of ourselves turned to our value to God in scripture.

It is with a heart full of peace and joy but also sorrow that I had to leave this amazing journal yesterday! It truly brought me closer to God and illuminated His character for me. Candace is such a role model for me, and her heart for Jesus and Christianity really came through. I will definitely need to pick up more of her devos at my earliest opportunity. It wasn't at all fluffy to me, and even the shorter prompts gave me much to think and write and study on. This got me journaling more as well, and it was a 100 days well spent. I just wish it were longer! It was crazy too how many of the days were spot on with EXACTLY the message I needed from God that day and how I was prompted to look throughout my Bible for certain verses and studies. These were easy to fit in on the busiest of days but still with plenty of substance to think on. Highly recommend!

I’ve never read a devotional book before but it’s been a rough year and I needed a deeper sense of hope and encouragement. This book was everything I needed and more. The tone is so relatable, the content is uplifting and positive while acknowledging life’s challenges, and the message is true to the title: I definitely felt more joy and strength on the days I spent my mornings with this book and my Bible.

This journal is the best study I've done in years! It's a simple, quick format with meaningful days of study/journaling. I loved it so much it went on trips to Vegas and Iceland with me so I wouldn't miss a day. I have done a lot of Candace's studies, but this is my favorite. God is using Candace to bless, teach and encourage other believers!

This book was given to me by a prayer friend of mine and during a season where there was much joy but I need strength.

Candace presents God’s word in ways that are applicable but approachable and I always felt encouraged.

Took me a little longer than 100 days to get through but I really enjoyed each 1 page devotion. The devotions were relatable and always encouraging. Grateful that each one pointed me to Jesus! There was a page beside each devotion for journaling.

For short morning devotionals, this one worked so well. It's not for deep theological study, but it is solid encouraging time in the Word.
