You know what? I actually enjoyed this one and I’m shocked because I’ve always looked at Punchline as a watered down Harley Quinn but in this one I’m thinking that readers are definitely going to get to see a lot more of her personality. I’m not sure what to expect from this one overall, but I like the idea of Punchline getting together some old school Gotham old school villains and having them reek havoc on the city. There is an interesting element of social media tied into this one that she’s definitely going to use to her advantage. The artwork was great! ALL OF THE PURPLE! It’s my favorite color so seeing it dominate with so many different hues just made my heart smile. I think this is one that I will be continuing on with!

This was decent. A fun first issue and I'm definitely intrigued to see where this story will go, I'll read the rest of the series, but I don't think I'll pick up the single issues physically.

My exposure to Punchline is limited but what I have seen I've liked, the characters name and design is great and more strong entertaining female DC characters is definitely what the doctor ordered.

So here we have a story about Punchline recruiting and starting a gang to help push drugs in Gotham City. Nothing ground breaking here, but the art is excellent and it's all written really sharp and tight and feels like we have a very Ace Chemical, Joker esq style story.

Maybe Batman will even make an appearance ;)

I'll likely grab issue #2 and this may become a series I pull.

As someone who really liked Punchline (and also loved her first solo issue Punchline #1) I kind of expected more. I get that this is just the introduction, so this could very well still develop in something great, but as of now, I'm not really feeling it.

The skill to get back in the game...

Punchline is out of prison and seeks out the OG Royal Flush Gang to start wreaking havoc in Gotham again.

This could've been a lot more in my opinion. It feels as if the writers don't really know where to go with her character. A drug dealer, a social media influencer.. I guess she's just really playing one big game.
What I disliked moat about this comic was the dialogue trying to play into a teenager and using words that usually can be seen in TikTok comment sections. Teenagers don't talk like this in real life.

Nonetheless, I'm intrigued on where the team will go with this character.

Even though she is a fairly new character in DC comics, she is definitely making a mark as a villain. I’m excited to see what this series of comics have in store for her. So far she is relentless, independent and a pretty much demented. Everything I like in a good bad guy comic character. Excited for the November issue 🖤✨

I read this on the DC app and the reading experience was awful! Panels didn't work in guided view and some pages were just all grey but that is not the original stories fault. What I could read was fun and the art I really liked. I hope that the next issue is a better reading experience.

Disappointing start of Punchline's solos series. Story is boring and nothing new. Mediocre art style. 2/5
