I have been reading, teaching and creating tarot for over 25 years now. I love tarot and want everybody to enjoy and use this powerful life tool. You don't need to be psychic or magic. You don't need to 'believe' in it. Tarot is a centuries-old information system. Human wisdom and life experience poured into 78 cards. Learn tarot once and you can pick up ANY deck and use it.

I write for Cosmopolitan, I am the UK and US's first resident tarot columnist there and I blend astrology with tarot to create forecasts and predictions.

I do tarot readings for clients all day, every day, all over the world. I have found that we all have the same worries, fears, and hopes. I try to bring truth, comfort and hope into all of my readings. There's nothing you can't face or handle. And you're never alone.

I hope you enjoy my decks and books. I have tried to put as much kindness and positivity into them as I can.

I am a Gemini (don't hate me!), a Sagittarius rising and a Pisces moon.

I have 3 cats (Willow, Peaches, and Tron) and I live in Nottingham with my partner, Luke.

Reading is what I spend most time doing each day (after sleeping). I have been going to my library every week since I was 3 years old. I LOVE reading and am so happy to be a part of the Goodreads community.

If you are looking to dip your toes into Astrology, Numerology and the concepts of Tarot - this is your book! It gives you the basic concepts and information to get started on your journey.

I really hope this author decides to write something more in depth, because I loved this and want more. I definitely plan on purchasing a physical copy when the book is released.

I really loved this book. I enjoyed working my way through it and finding out so many new things connecting my star sign with other practices like Tarot. It's written in an easy-to-follow way and the author has done it in an almost conversational tone, which I found really lovely to read. I'm definitely going to use some of what I've learnt going forward and i can't wait to see what books the author brings out next.

Fun read! I've been learning about tarot for a couple of years, and of course I know my own zodiac sign. But I know very little of astrology otherwise, and nothing of numerology. It's a quick read, and a fun self-discovery guide.

A beautifully illustrated guide to astrology, numerology, and tarot with great guided exercises as well! The meditation chapter is probably my favorite. Happy to have this in my collection.

A beginner-friendly book on astrology, numerology, and tarot based on your date of birth.

The book is written in a concise and understandable manner, with elaborations on specific vocabulary whenever needed. The index is truly wonderful to have, I love the practice ideas based on the elements, and I did like the subtle shade Ward threw at the air-signs in the bibliomancy prompt ("don't overthink it", "again, don't overthink"); it gave me a good chuckle. The artwork is stunning, and shows a level of detail I truly appreciate, like the signs for the elements cleverly tucked in without them being too noticeable.

I do, however, think it misses some depth that I would want to see (or are looking for) in a book like this. I would've liked to see an elaboration or analysis on whenever two factors (such as planet or element, or even life path) collide. I feel like being just one of the four archetypes for elements, twelve tarot cards, ten planets, and twelve life paths is a strong generalisation, and I'd like to see how - for example - a venus air sign differs from a mercury air sign.

That being said, I think it's a great beginner guide for people just starting out with any of the topics mentioned in this book, and I do believe all of the practical prompts (which are listed under the elements) are important for any practitioner of witchcraft or magic(k).

(e-ARC kindly provided by the publisher through Edelweiss. This does not affect my opinion.)

Power, Purpose, Practice by Kerry Ward is the perfect manual for anyone interested in astrology, numerology, and mystical symbolism. The author does a fantastic job of explaining to the reader how to find their star sign and the power associated with it. After determining the information, the reader can then learn how their sign, numerology, element, etc influences their life purpose. And finally, emphasis on how to benefit from your personal data by practicing rituals/meditations at appropriate times.

As someone who wouldn't necessarily call myself a novice, I was able to skim the first section about finding my numerology and astrology data. However, this information is excellent to have when gathering this data for other people. I learned so much about myself from the rest of the book and I continue to use much of the information I learned here when considering my meditation practices, etc. Kudos to Ward for making a wonderful resource for those interested in the metaphysical space!

Thank you to NetGalley, Fair Winds Press, and Kerry Ward for this ARC. All opinions expressed here are my own.

If you are trying to answer the question "Am I on the right path?" then this is the book for you. It combines the wisdom of tarot, numerology and astrology to offer you guidance on your journey through life.

This book is divided up into three parts, first we have Power: which explores your elemental and planetary powers, and your tarot archetype.

Then Purpose helps you work out your life path number, to uncover your purpose using numerology.

Finally Practice offers meditations and rituals, practical techniques to assist in personal growth.

Nata's artwork illustrates this book beautifully, and makes it a joy to read. I especially love the tarot archetype artworks 😍

I've thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, and I've found the practical exercises to be very useful. I'd highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning more about their life's journey, or anyone who loves tarot, numerology and astrology ☺️

I really enjoyed this book. In part 1, you find out your star sign and the element that goes with that sign, then the tarot card and planet that links to your element to help you find your elemental power. Then you read about each one and learn more about yourself! In part 2 you learn about numerology and your life path number in order to help you find your purpose, then in part 3 there are planetary meditations and some lovely elemental rituals that I am really looking forward to having a go at.

I found the descriptions of particularly the elements to be spot on and I really enjoyed the beautiful illustrations that accompany the book. If you enjoy esoteric books and learning more about yourself through tarot and the elements, as well as some almost-witchy rituals, you will love this book.

With thanks to Netgalley and Fair Winds Press for this ARC. All opinions are my own.

Power, Purpose, Practice by Kerry Ward is a beautifully interactive and enjoyable book. The illustrations were gorgeous, and aligned with each page. This book is proactive and guides the reader through learning about themselves. I enjoyed that the reader does not need a birth time to complete the book, which makes for an accessible guide open to anyone wanting to learn about these aspects. The aspects and themes explored were digestible and informative and they pulled me into the book. I feel as if I’ve learnt so much from Power, Purpose, Practice.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to understand about themselves and about their inner/outer worlds. Thank you to Netgalley, Quarto Publishing Group - Fair Winds and Kerry Ward for an expertly written and illustrated ARC.

This is an unique book that will guide you to find your power, explore your purpose and embrace your daily life. You can find your true self through astrology, numerology, and tarot. Kerry Ward wrote this insightful book that can relate to anyone. I thumbed through the book before starting to read it. I came across a page with my birth sign which is Scorpio. Some points which stood out to me were that I am a fearless and unfazed by life and this is you. This you can easily connect with most anyone in any situation. These statements are me. All of life is about transforming, the enternal process of change, and the constant evolution. All that she says about a scorpio person fits me. This book has a nice table of contents as well as an index at the end of the book.

Power, Purpose, Practice by Kerry Ward introduces you to how tarot, numerology and the planets coincide with your star sign to bring insight into your nature.
Part one focuses on your star sign and its correspondences to discover your "power" - what makes you tick.
Part two focuses on numerology and your life path to help discover your "purpose".
Part three focuses on meditations, activities and rituals to perform to develop your "practice" and incorporate these concepts into your day to day life.
I really enjoyed this book. Easy to follow and digest. There were magical illustrations throughout. Perfect for beginners.

Overall the book is interesting and is divided in a way that it's truly easy to understand. The illustrations in the book are gorgeous. The only thing I did not love was that I felt the information provided by the book was somewhat surface-level. I would definitely recommend it to someone that is starting with these topics or someone that wants the information provided in the same place with beautiful designs.

Thank you NetGalley, Quarto Publishing Group, and Fair Winds Press for providing me with a copy of this book to review.

As someone seasoned in tarot & astrology, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and learning more about the concept of numerology as well. The layout is helpful and the imagery is stunning. I think this would be a fantastic resource for both a beginner, and someone familiar with all three subjects already.

Okay book that had several slow parts in this book. You have to be interested in the subject for this book to be captivating.
