A more appropriate title would have been A Cute Walk Through Williamsburg. But if they really wanted to stick with the kitten idea, The Kitten That Only Hopped Out of a Basket. Ha, ha!
A whole lot less about a kitten and a whole lot more of walking around the old charming town - which is one of my absolute favorite places to visit on the East Coast. If you haven’t been there, you should really work it into your schedule, or budget, or both!
And of course read this book before going. Visitors will also be happy to note that the place the children eat is open for you to enjoy some goodies too.

Content Considerations: nothing to note.
**Like my reviews? Then you should follow me! Because I have hundreds more just like this one. With each review, I provide Content Considerations, mentioning any objectionable content I come across so that parents and/or conscientious readers (like me) can determine beforehand whether they want to read a book or not. Content surprises are super annoying, especially when you’re 100+ pages in, so here’s my attempt to help you avoid that!

This is not a well-constructed story. It's called Little Lost Kitten, but the kitten is literally lost for a single page. It's not even really lost. It just gets spooked and run and then quickly, George Washington, picks it up and gives it back to the little girl. The story is really just a plotless romp through, I suppose, Williamsburg in the days of George Washington. But it's boring, and of course, there's all the uncomfortable stuff that comes with that -- slavery and strict gender roles.
