This is a quick read board book; bright and colourful and ideal for young babies. The pages are chunky enough to be held by the child and the illustrations are very cute!
Very cute colorful, active illustrations. I enjoyed the bunny interaction. Also the sleepy chick throughout was fun. Luke the puppy and kitten books there is almost rhyming but writing is still catchy and clever
Chicks is a great selection for babies 0-6 months old. It is a sturdy board book that is made from thick cardboard material, making the pages easy for babies to get their fingers in between and turn. This is a story about chicks and all the different fun activities that they do, such as dancing in puddles and hiding in flowers. Each page has very limited text, but offers visually interesting pictures with bright colors and simple lines. This book also incorporates the sounds the chicks make, which is a fun way to get the baby engaged in the book, even at the 0-6 months age. Older babies in the 12-18 months age would also enjoy this book. They would love making the chick “cheeping” sound. They would also enjoy mimicking the activities of the chicks such as dancing, hiding, and pecking.
