Dla mnie cudo! To nie jest tytuł dla maluchów, ale już szkolne dzieciaki będą się super bawić, dużo informacji, dużo ilustracji, wszystko jest super wytłumaczone, językiem który jest przystępny dla wszystkich.

Udajcie się w fascynującą podróż od początków życia do teraźniejszości, wycieczkę po historii Ziemi.

Czym jest ewolucja? Jak przebiega? Jak powstało życie? Ta książka odpowiada na wszystkie pytania dotyczące tego zjawiska. Nawet na takie, o których zadaniu byśmy nie pomyśleli. Autorki, dwie badaczki, sprawiły, że możemy w domu poszerzać swoje horyzonty, czytając ich dzieło.
Książka zawiera mnóstwo informacji, mnóstwo wiedzy. Mimo że ewolucja to bardzo trudne do zrozumienia zjawisko, wszystko jest wyjaśnione, tak aby pojął je nawet laik - bardzo często pojęcia zobrazowanie są na konkretnych przykładach. Na dole stron znajdziemy oś czasu geologicznych epok z zaznaczoniem, gdzie aktualnie jesteśmy. Stała jest również ramka z pionierami ewolucjonizmu - dawnymi i współczesnymi naukowcami.
Na końcu znajduje się mapa świata z wiekszością opisywanych w książce gatunków, drzewo genealogiczne życia oraz słowniczek pojęć.

Książka dedykowana jest dla dzieci od około 9 roku życia. Świetne sprawdzi się jako uzupełnienie szkolnej wiedzy lub pomoc w edukacji domowej.
Ilustracje są barwne, żywe i szczegółowe. Już sama okładka przyciąga wzrok.Bardzo ładne wydanie, każdy szczegół jest dopracowany. Nada się także na prezent

Written by the great-great-granddaughter of Charles Darwin this book explores the journey of evolution from the formation of earth to the present. With illustrations reminiscent of those from Neon Squid Press, each two-page spread tackles a different topic in a chronological manner with bars at the bottom to indicate the different eras being covered. There is such a plethora of information that it feels overwhelming at times but for those who who are truly interested and looking for a grand overview of this important topic, this is an excellent resource. The author strives to include scientists from a variety of backgrounds and genders, etc but for most of the BIPOC ones especially, they are more recent.

nonostante sia un libro classificato come ‘per bambini’ l’ho trovato sorprendentemente interessante.
spazia tra vari argomenti tra cui la nascita della terra, quella delle prime forme di vita, l’evoluzione di piante e animali, le varie estinzioni di massa, i dinosauri e i fossili.
insomma è un volume adatto ai più curiosi con il quale intrattenersi per qualche ora, arricchito da meravigliose immagini ed illustrazioni

I read this book with my daughter and she LOVED IT. I also enjoyed reading it a lot. The content is lightweight without skimping or details, and the illustrations are wonderful.

It’s a nicely separated into different time periods so it’s easy to digest and understand the clear separation and evolution of life throughout time.

Highly recommended for kids or adults looking for a beatiful book.

Ein Kinderbuch über eines der wissenschaftlichen spannendsten Themen, wie ich finde.
Tolle Zeichnungen und kurze, aber interessante Erklärungen zu allen Themen, die Evolution betreffend, sind hier auf 64 Seiten zu finden.
Die Autorinnen sind sozusagen „vom Fach“ und Mitarbeiterinnen beim Museum für Naturkunde in Berlin. Und der Name Darwin sagt schon alles…
Das Buch war informativ auch für mich als erwachsenen Leser, vor Allem aber auch meiner Meinung nach kindgerecht erklärt.
Am unteren Rand findet sich auf jeder Seite eine Zeitleiste, so dass man immer gleich sehen kann, in welcher Phase der Entwicklung man sich gerade befindet.
In kleinen Exkursen werden wichtige Persönlichkeiten und Forscher vorgestellt
Insgesamt ein interessantes Buch, das wir auf jeden Fall für unsere Schulbibliothek kaufen werden.
