My name is Puck, and I’m the only Omega hockey mascot. After a tragic figure skating accident, I’m marked as a Reject Omega and sold to the most notorious team in the Alpha NHL to become their puck mascot. All alone, I’m a nobody who’s only brave enough to throw off my costume and dance at night.
When a dangerous heat hits me mid-game, surely the star players, the Blades, won’t leap from the ice to save me? But will the Alpha Captain, his wild child best friend, their fiercely protective Beta, and the sweet and funny male Omega put me above their hockey?
I’m falling hard for these men who smell like my dream pack, but will they bond with a reject? The Blades always play to win, but when all our secrets are revealed, will they lose me?
A puck. Her blades. A pack bond that changes everything.

There's no way I'm the only person who managed to get through this insufferable book and thought 'wtf???'
The style of writing in this book just does not work for me. Strange time jumps, strange sentence phrasing and story structure. I genuinely felt like I had a headache coming on from trying to get through this, and I wanted to DNF so many times.
For being a standalone in a series, I would still anticipate that I could easily read this on its own without needing any of the other books. I don't think that's the case - I think you'd be confused.
Honestly also confused by some of the character motivations and actions, along with feeling like the overarching exposition falls flat and gives us nothing.

"I’m only dressed in my thin black top and pants, apart from a pair of sparkling lilac gloves and scarf, which Cygnus has lent to me. My hair is scraped back from my head and pinned down. I was born to skate. Out here on the ice, I’m alive. Free." - Puck

Another great book in the Pack Bonds series! Puck and Her Blades brings the omegaverse world to the ice. I really love this series and Puck/Ice is a great addition to my other favorite omegas.
First, I loved that her experience as an omega figure skater, raised by alpha parents, gave her strength. She could've let her injury, resulting in her rejection status, destroy her but instead it helped her fight for her omega and pack. There were moments when she couldn't do much in her position, but she still found ways to support and encourage the others in the pack to be stronger. I loved when she would growl and surprised the alphas around her... especially with Sydney.
And that ending has me needing Lark's story as soon as possible.
This is another great story in the Pack Bonds series. I love how hard Ice knew what and who she wanted as pack bonds. It was great seeing her get everything wanted. Her and Cygnus were great as an omega pair. The spicy moments were really good. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series and finding out what happened with Lark and his daughter.
I don't have a lot of sports romances on my shelves. Luckily I had not read this book yet. Rosemary A. Johns has become one of my favorite authors. Not because she's so brilliant or unique, but because her writing style and my reading style just fit perfectly. She focuses on the emotions. The emotions of the characters, the emotions of the situation and the emotions in every scene. So, when a prompt wanted me to read a sports romance I didn't doubt what I was gonna read.
I love how this series focuses on unconditional love. All those characters, the omegas, the alphas and the betas, have a chip on their shoulders. They're all being forced to live with the consequences of being born a certain way. And all of them are lucky enough to eventually meet the people who will love them for who they are. Not because they're an omega, not because they're a beta or an alpha. But just because they are themselves.
I really loved how this pack came together and was quite clearly meant to be. There is a little bit of history between some of these characters and we don't get to see much of it and yet we feel their connection. We understand why the two omegas calm down in each other's company. We understand why they all want Ash to become officially part of the pack. We understand why the alphas are fighting so hard for each other and the others.
I have to admit that I was a little disappointed that Ice's chronic pain is only briefly mentioned. I'm a chronic pain patient herself and although I love books where the chronic pain is not the main character. However, in this book it feels like the author forgets about the chronic pain of her heroine right after mentioning it in the first chapters. We never see her actually suffering from it or her being held back by it. As a reader you therefore forget she has it, which is a pity.
However, I'm looking forward to the next book in the series!
This is the fifth book in the Pack Bonds series and it's another amazing one. Puck, or Ice as she was known then, was living a happy life as an omega figure skater until a tragic accident get her marked as a reject and eventually sold to become a hockey mascot. I love how strong Puck is even though she is treated terribly because she has no rights as a reject. I love the relationship with her men, two alphas, a beta , and an omega who treat her with love and respect and fight for her and to create the pack they want. There is lots of steam btwen eveyone. Rosemary A John has once again created wonderful characters in this world and a story that will give you all the feels and I ant wait for the next book
When tragedy strikes to figure skated - Ice (FMC) she's marked as a reject that lands in the job of being a mascot for the Blades Hockey Team. Only to have her name changed to Puck and to have to be silent whilst she's Puck too. So she's pretty much had her identity taken away from her. That helps her find herself in the middle of a group of Alphas - Jackson and Zev, a Beta - Asher and an Omega - Cygnus. All of which are fiercely protective of each other especially Cygnus who I genuinely loved his sweet and playful nature. I loved the relationship that they all had together. It gave Ice and Cygnus the time to grow in strength as characters I thought with the backing of their pack. I just loved it.
Puck & Her Blades by Rosemary Johns is the fifth book in the Pack Bonds Series. We meet Ice, an Reject Omega, who has been sold to a pack who owns a hockey team. Ice used to be an amazing figure skater until she had a horrible accident on the ice, fell, shattered her leg, and her parents then wanted nothing to do with her. She was labeled a Reject. There is so much love between Ice, Cygnus, Jackson, Zev, and Asher. Jackson is the ultimate protector. Asher is just the best sunshine ever. I hope Roarke gets what he deserves at the Alpha Center. I hope they find who they are looking for in the end. Loved it. I have always loved all the books in this series.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading Puck’s story…or should I say Ice. Ice lost everything a year ago. Once a well know Omega figure skater, now a reject Omega who spent the last year in the Institute. She is sold to a pack that she only dreamed about when she was famous, only it’s not as it seems. She is the new mascot and invisible as a reject. Now the pack has different opinions on her role and it isn’t just an invisible mascot, she is their missing piece and they will move mountains to bond with her. I loved the challenges they faced for their HEA. I can’t wait to read the next story of the series!
Rosemary shows how to make a sure shot in this standalone, Omegaverse story! Ice, aka Puck, was an omega figure skater who broke her leg so badly that they marked her as a reject. She is bought to be a silent mascot for the hockey team, the Blades, but they claim her which sets off a wild ride as they fight for their HEA! You will be dragged into this story and it won't let you go until you get to the end. Beautifully written with complex characters and plot twists that keep you turning pages throughout, this book became a favourite. I loved reading this story and highly recommended it! Don't miss out on this book!!
Hockey and Ice. The series is written in way that it mirrors our world but where all are given a designation of alpha, beta or omega. Omegas you would think would be cherished but in a world where money and power reign they are used as items. This story shows several dynamics. Where even alphas are used and controlled. The story rotates around the ice with hockey and ice skating. The relationships give the story depth both romantic and the dark side of life. You will come to love the characters written as they are amazing.
What can I say other than you need to read this story. I cannot get enough of these omegaverse stories. This story was different from the other's. Ice aka Puck the Omega even though she came from Alpha parent's they raised her to be strong, but what set her apart from the rest is that she didn't let her injury or rejection get in her way, she is her own powerhouse. I loved, loved Cygnus and the guy's. This series is stealing my heart & I can't get enough and after the ending, how about Lark's story.
Ice, aka Puck, is a trapped Omega reject. Bought in an auction she is now the permanent mascot for a professional hockey team. I love how everything and everyone comes together to make things work. Two protective and possessive Alphas, a sinful!y sweet Beta, and the loveliest male Omega become more than pack mates. Jackson, Zev, Asher, and Cygnus are amazing and Ice completes the bond perfectly.
Puck was rejected by her pack and sold to a hockey team as their mascot. She is lost and she is shocked when her heat appears in the middle of a game. Now her life may just change yet again. Will the captain of the team help her? Will others help as well? Will she finally find a pack to call her own? See if her life will get better
Puck/Ice is not a downtrodden Omega from the institute, but she has been sold as one! Fiesty and full of spunk, it is so very clear that she should never have been marked as a reject just because she cant compete as a figure skater! She's an awesome character to read, seeing her grow and use her position to her packs advantage is great. Her guys are so so gorgeous, inside and out and i love the love they all have for each other. This is a brilliant Omegaverse!
This is the fifth book in a wonderful series by Rosemary Johns. Ice was the only Omega figure skater, when she fell during the world championships. She broke her leg and ended up in the Omega institute and classified as a reject. Now she has been sold to the Washington Blades. To be their mascot Puck, they even take her name. She is now called Puck. When she meets Cygnus the blades Omega be shows her love ,friendships. This means so much to her both physically and mentally. As she meets the rest of the pack Asher. Zev and Jackson This is an emotionally charged read with great story telling.
This was a sweet read with the characters it made you go awwww! This wasn’t all nice awwww moments and goes to show doesn’t matter how good you are or who you are things aren’t always as they seem ! I thoroughly enjoyed this omegaverse book, loved the hockey in it to and loved the ending! .
This was a great installment in this world. A bunch of folks who have been set aside for various reasons and taken advantage of, finding their way and fighting the system. Another great story in this world and I love Ice and her boys.
Another amazing story. I have been enjoying all of these stories. There is just so much love and happiness found in each and every book. And the steam? Oh my goodness yes.
I really liked this the book. So far, in this series of stand-alone is my favorite. After an ice skating accident, Ice now known as Puck is marked as a reject Omega. She is also sold to an NHL team to be their mascot. But will she wind up in the best place for her. I just loved this book!
This was a great story, complex with the omegaverse rules but such strong characters they you really feel for and want them to get the happy ending they deserve. Loved that Ice wasn't cowed by all that she'd gone through, she stayed strong and sass.
First let me say I am loving the omega Hockey book stories. Puck who used to be known as Ice was a figure Skater. She is also an omega. So loved this storyline. Oh and the steam. Cannot forget that. I really enjoyed reading this one. Definitely recommend reading.
Wow this book brought me to tears and gave me goosebumps!! This might be my favourite book in the series. I adored it so much and so many yummy scenes!! Rosemary does it yet again!!
From a famous Omega figure skater to an ice hockey mascot, quite a drop in status. But its actually a good thing, as she found her pack in the Blades hockey team. But can they ever be free?
I have absolutely adored every book in this series and this book just made me love them more! You can start here or at the beginning but it is for sure worth it to read them!
One of my most anticipated omegaverse's did not disappoint. An exceptionally written omegaverse that made me swoon for the characters and fall in love with this universe all over again.
This book was a hot mess express. There were weird time jumps that made no sense. Little to no explanation of character motivations and a lot of assumptions the reader was supposed to make. I just barely forced myself to finish the book. Almost DNFd multiple times.
