I loved being able to read Fred’s journal. He did a great job of reporting the events of the day, not just the weather or the game they were chasing but the meals they had and interesting characters in camp.
I also enjoyed the layout of daily accounts instead of chapters. It lets you read what you have time to that day.
Fred Bears' field notes leave no question to his title as the father of modern bowhunting. Many of these stories are encapsulating and downright awesome
