The author is so verbose and the premise so contrived that I just ended up reading the first line of every paragraph. Even that was a waste of time. Hate to say that about anyone's writing (hopefully Kelley St. John never reads this) but this book honestly isn't worth reading... :(

I loved this book. I couldn't put it down. I was slightly disappointed in the ending, but that is the case with most books I read. But it is one of those books that I can pick up again at any time and read it and it makes me laugh, cry, etc. and I will still like how the books flows!!

Not a bad book. Not sure I liked the insta love , but at least the closing chapters showed they waited a year before getting married. I’m glad she resolved her root issues with cheating with her parents too. Don’t know why his back story had to have him rich already.

I've had this book for a good number of years, and I never got around to reading it: wow, was that a mistake! This is such an addictive book and I loved every page. Another great author!

Marissa Kincaid just wants to find love and not keep tracking men who are cheaters. Marissa and her two friends Amy and Candi are partners for a magazine called Atlanta Tell All.
Marissa got tired of men cheating on her and decided to make a website called TheGuyCheats.com The first guy Marissa posted as her first cheater was Trent Jackson. Marissa was 13 years old when her and Trent dated well at least Marissa thought they were dating.
Trent Jackson is the CEO of Jackson Enterprises. When he saw his name listed as a cheater on TheGuyCheats.com he decided to get even. Trent made a website called TheGirlLies.com Trent knows what he wants and knows how to get his way.
A popular radio show found out about the conflict between Marissa Kincaid and Trent Jackson. They wanted them both to come to the show and do a live interview. It's been a few years since Marissa and Trent seen each other. Will Marissa and Trent see each other again? Will this war between them stop and will Marissa find true love?
To Catch A Cheat was a very enjoyable read. I loved this book from the beginning to the end. I look forward to reading more books by Kelley St. John. Ms. John knows how to have her readers glued to a book.

To Catch a Cheat by Kelley St. John. This book was about a woman whose name is Marissa Kincaid who is betrayed by men. She goes on an escapade with her girlfriends to trash all men on a website called TheGuyCheats.com. This website is about all the men that Marissa trusted and let her down. The first man being Trenton Jackson, who said "yes" to a school dance but didn't go because he was going out with another girl at the time. And in retaliation Trent make's up his on website which is the exact opposite of her's talking about girls who did him wrong. So they both enter a contest that they both have to do or forfeit the money that is offered. The deal is if Marissa and Trent have to spend 2 weeks together in which they can't fall into bed together or they lose. In the end it is a lost cause because they love each other too much to pretend anymore. Who knows what other trials they'll face when they actually get together and live with each other.

I read this on holiday and found it a very enjoyable read. It was the first book of Kelley St John's I read and it made me want to read more of her books. With its funny plot line I found that I had difficulty putting it down. The story is about Marissa who got tired of men cheating on her and decided to make a website called TheGuyCheats.com. She puts Trent who cheated on her when she was young on the website, however when he sees his name on a cheaters list he makes a website called TheGirlLies.com. They both enter a contest where Marissa and Trent have to spend 2 weeks together in which they can't fall into bed together or they lose the money offered. You know what is going to happen but is a funny read as it happens. I loved this book and look forward to reading more books by Kelley St. John. xx

I'm not real sure what I think of this book. I enjoyed its light tone and breezy voice, but there were elements that bothered me. The heroine is a computer tech of some kind (programmer, maybe, but maybe a web guru--I'm not entirely up on all the different varieties of computer geniuses), who runs a webzine with two of her friends. One friend is married, but the other one has the heroine's same issue--they keep winding up with guys who cheat. And when, in the opening pages, the heroine discovers yet another cheating boyfriend--this time he's cheating with another guy--she starts a new web site called TheGuyCheats where girls can post guys who've cheated on them. And the first guy she names dates back to junior high.

I should start by saying that a friend brought the not-yet-published version of this book, and so my hope is that by the time this book is released to the masses, some changes have been made. The story line is fairly weak and predictable, which some people do consider to be the hallmark of chicklit. I, however, do like chicklit, but this book lacked in any real new concepts or wit, and it's a pretty good example of why the genre has such a bad rap.
To be fair, I did read the book in its entirety, so it did keep my attention, but I can't recommmend it.

I really enjoyed this book. Something started so innocently becomes such a success. The process of her discovering her true love is comic and cute. The sexual tension is described so well keeps you wanting more. Well written by Kelley St John.
