A photo essay shows readers how the U.S. government works with an in-depth look at daily life of Senator Bill Bradley of New Jersey as he works with his constituents and with his colleagues on the Hill.
I have had this book since April of 1996 and bought it then because I admired Bill Bradley, both as an athlete and a person. Over the years I have read parts of it often but only recently read the entire book. I was struck again by how much Bill Bradley reflects my own values. (Recommend the reading of his floor statement by Senator Bill Bradley on race and civil rights given July 10, 1991 and reprinted beginning on page 186). How prescient that what we see today he predicted 30 years ago.
