Cockrum was also a prolific and inventive costume designer, who updated the uniforms of the Legion of Super-Heroes, and did the same for the new X-Men and many of their antagonists, in the 1970s and early 1980s.

June 9, 2021I just read this to finish off the story line (because I’m a completionist to the best of my ability).
The end sort of reminded me of Hulk: Crossroads when Kurt was being transported to different universes.
And just like with Hulk, Kurt returned home!
Overall, not a fan of this mini-series.
I especially didn’t like the fact that it wasn’t even set in the ‘present’ - as in in-continuity to the X-Men comics that were releasing the same time this mini-series was being published.

What the fuck did I just read

So in this issue we get straight up told that Nightcrawler is in a new dimension and that means the sorcerer's statement of "not going to tell you" regarding how he can teleport either means the writer has no xplanation.
And if the writing wasn't lazy enough already, a giant Storm-look-alike came in to change everything up. Which makes it all the more baffling how Kurt figured out that the magical power was still in the staff despite the sorcerer's words. That is surprisingly smart for this comic.
Of course this was only temporary as when Kurt was teleported throughout one dimension after the other, he ends up with a tv-set with an old lady inside it and she tells him everything and explains… an apparently all Nightcrawler had to do was to really want to be home.

Finale della miniserie. Chiusura e ritornoa casa. Un pelo meno bello e accattivante dei numeri precedenti.
Sembra che Cockrum voglia mostrare quante altre storie potrebbe creare, ma ci dica che per diversi motivi non ha questa possibilità.
4 stelle.
Una miniserie nel complesso divertente, ma che tutto sommato ha dato il meglio nei primi due numeri.
