Great inspirational read. Dad writes notes to his sons every morning before he goes to work. The author and his wife adopted these two boys, and these little notes shows that love goes beyond the boundaries of blood.

Love Dad is literally a book full of notes. The book doesn't take long to read, but is well worth your time. Patrick Connolly left for work most mornings before his two boys were awake. While eating breakfast with his wife he would write them a note almost every morning. The notes were filled with challenges, whether it be school related or just to better them as people. Patrick doodled characters for almost every note also. Overall the book is very cute and touching. I would recommend this dads to read this book to their children. I think that boys who received the notes every morning highly benefited emotionally. The notes, I could tell, were all created with love.

Patrick Connolly’s routine every morning before going to work, while eating Breakfast with his wife would write or draw a letter to his two sons. Giving advice or challenging them. Letting them know that they are loved. This was a very cute book.

Cute book. I love the illustrations/notes that the Dad (author) left for his 2 boys. Who as a child wouldn't have wanted their parent to leave such wonderful, inspiring and always on the funny side notes for them in the morning...?
