I still recommend this book to anyone that will listen to this day and I read it over 15 years ago for the first time. This is the long game of revenge and I’m here for it. It’s fantastic.
I wanted to give this book at 3/5 but the ending was so good, I couldn’t.
The first portion of this book was soooo hard to get through. It took me forever. The filler and the plot building was tedious but wow was it worth it. The ending felt like a reward after piecing a puzzle together. 4/5 pretty good book!
This book had so much emotion in it as it is a story of revenge, the plot was fantastic and kept me wanting more. with a dual timeline that eventually joins to the one timeline. taking place in an age and time when many things were different and a bordello was unheard of. i can't say enough good things about this book!
I read this book 20 years ago and it is still one of the best books I have ever read! When people ask for a good book to read this is always my go to!! I think I read it in 2 days, it kept me on the edge of my seat!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this book!
The thriller elements were entertaining, the sex scenes are okay if a little dated and slightly less racey than I was hoping for. A reasonable, if dated read.
SUBLIME!!
