The world we know is divided into two pre and post-pandemic! Our lives changed drastically due to the pandemic, and as a result, our social behavior changed, including our purchasing behavior. When all social norms change, we have two adjusting or resisting. Adjusting our social interactions or how we conduct business will reward us with more market share, and resisting will force us out of business. In the good old days, we believed that the early bird would get the worm, but now we have to say the tech-savvy bird will order the worm without working hard! There is a paradigm shift in all marketplaces, and we can firmly say that the identity-building phase of this new reality is done, and most of our society is making this new reality their comfort zone! The Pandemic changed how we live with distance learning, working, and socializing! We were forced by natural selection to evolve our lifestyle based on the emergent phenomenon of Covid-19. Natural selection is the process through which species adapt to their environments. It is the engine that drives evolution, and in this book, we focus on our evolution in consumerology in the postmodern world! Consumerology consists of the mass psychology regarding the purchasing behaviors on both sides of consumers and businesses in liberal economies. In liberal market economies, businesses rely primarily on competitive markets to secure access to finance, skills, labor, and technology; this book focuses on our liberal market system concerning customers' behavior and needs in the post-pandemic era.
