Second Sight: A Second Book of Poems, Verse, Toasts & Songs

This is my second book of poems. The first, The Gift , was published in 2007. Second Sight is divided into sequential, subject matter, or stylistic Passages, Never Too Old (love poems for older people), On Writing (the process of creative writing), Crossing Over (on death and dying), After Burns (poems in the style or memory of Robert Burns), On Politics and Man, and Toasts & Tributes. It includes a helpful Appendix to explain some of the references made in many of the poems.
Each poem is suitable for reading aloud. All have been worked and re-worked over many years and arise from personal experience as well as observations of others during a lifetime filled with observation, reading, personal experience, and public engagement and public speaking.
