All Tucked Inn

Rate this book
In the quaint town of Jubilee, where time seems to have stood still, All Tucked Inn holds a treasure trove of secrets woven through four generations of Callaways. The inn, a beacon of warmth and charm, serves as the beating heart of the town, but beneath its idyllic surface, a family legacy hangs in the balance. Lanelle Callaway, the steadfast matriarch, is determined to pass the baton to her reluctant daughter, Heather. At forty-four, Heather is far from eager to abandon her thriving career in Atlanta for the sleepy inn that encapsulates her family's history. It's during an unexpected visit home that Heather's world is upended by the enigmatic arrival of a captivating stranger. As their paths intertwine, Heather is left to wonder if this mysterious newcomer could be the catalyst that finally makes her reconsider her destiny and embrace the legacy of All Tucked Inn.

Meanwhile, acclaimed author Madeline Harper continues settling in to small town life, but will she be able to make it work? Or will she pack her bags and head back to the big city?

Book number 2 in the Jubilee series continues right from book 1. The characters are still living it up In the small town of Jubilee and I enjoyed catching up with them.

Ah, my heart is so happy after reading this book! I can’t decide if I want to cry or jump for joy! I love that there were characters from one of her other book series overlapped into this book — I squealed with excitement! Haha! Book 3 is set around Christmas time, so I might wait until December to read that one, then again…I might not be able to wait that long to see how things unfold in Jubilee!

I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, that Rachel Hanna is my favorite women’s fiction author! She’s right alongside Freida McFadden, my go-to gal for when I’m seeking the psychological twisty stories! BIG THANKS to both of these amazing authors for always keeping me engaged with their wonderful storytelling!

3.5 ⭐️
Rachel Hanna’s books always bring a cozy charm, and All Tucked Inn is no exception. Although this series hasn’t captured me as much as some of her others, I still enjoyed it as a light, feel-good read. One highlight was seeing familiar characters from my favorite series make an appearance, which added an extra touch of enjoyment and nostalgia. While I found it harder to connect with the main characters, the story still has Hanna’s trademark warmth, making it a nice escape for fans of her work.

I love a good family story. These books have the cozy feeling that you're looking for, with the importance of family and friends at the forefront. I'm excited to see what will happen with Heather and with Madelyn and their romances with their men. I look forward to the next book!

Heather’s mother is wanting her to return to Jubilee to run the inn she owns. Heather is torn between her demanding job in Atlanta and helping her mother with the inn.

Heather and Ethan, a guest at the inn and an author, become close and she confides in him of the financial problems with the inn. However she later finds papers that indicate he’s not the person she thinks he is. Who is the man and why is he on Jubilee?

Heather has enjoyed reconnecting with the residents of Jubilee but must make a difficult decision, stay and help her mother or return to her career in Atlanta.

Rachel has done it again. Everything Rachel writes is captivating, interesting, and has wonderful 3-dimensional characters you are going to fall in love with. All Tucked Inn is the second book in the Jubilee series and it is just as great as the first one. First, I have to say, I love the name of the Inn, "All Tucked Inn".

In this episode, we visit with Madelyn and Brady again. Brady is dealing with the fact that his sister and niece are living with him, which is causing a bit of a stir. We also meet some new friends. Heather lives in Atlanta and is visiting her mom, Lanelle, who runs All Tucked Inn, which has been in the family for generations. What Heather doesn’t know is that her mother has been keeping secrets from her which is causing Her some concern. A charming new guest arrives at the Inn, leaving Heather torn between the hustle and bustle of the city and the laid-back atmosphere of Jubilee. But is this new arrival who he seems to be? I was also pleasantly surprised when a familiar guest shows up at the Inn.

This book is full of surprises, suspense, second chances, romance, and a deeper understanding of what truly matters. I read it in a single sitting because I couldn’t put it down! I’m sure you’ll love Jubilee and the people who live there, just like I do. Of course there are pets, too. I especially loved Gilbert the goat, who we met in the book One.

I like the story, and the way Hanna develops her characters. As a small-town Georgia girl myself, I can relate to the dynamics of her characters’ lives. Since I’ve been a high school English teacher for many years, I tend to read more closely than most, and it’s often to my own detriment. Little inconsistencies in logic make me lose track of the storyline sometimes. For example, Heather’s last name is Callaway, and All Tucked Inn’s first owners were Callaways, leading the reader to believe that Heather’s FATHER was the direct descendant, but according to the story, her mother inherited the inn. Now, I know some of you may say that perhaps her father decided to take her mother’s last name, because I know that happens today, but it’s not likely to have been the case in the little village of Jubilee in the North Georgia mountains, especially in the 1960s to 1990s.

All in all, it’s a warm, cozy read. I just need to quit analyzing, I guess…OR, maybe I could become one of Hanna’s proofreaders!

I found this book more intriguing than the first book of the series, so I am glad I came back to Jubilee to give it another chance. Madeline's character really grew on me. She has settled into small town life and her relationship with Brady and his family is evolving. She is also becoming part of the community and more comfortable with herself overall. We're introduced to Heather who comes back to help her mother with the town's inn. Heather's character struggles similarly to Madeline did in book one with deciding if staying in Jubilee is for her, but thankfully her story becomes much more interesting. I hope future books dig deeper into Geneva, Jasmine, and Clemmy, as I do think these characters once developed more will really set up a strong new series from Ms. Hanna.
***Also, characters from one of Ms. Hanna's other series make an appearance which is a nice surprise

Heather Callaway returns to her mother's inn to help out for a while. The inn has been in their family for more a couple of generations, and her mother is hoping that Heather will someday run it. But Heather has her own career in another city. Her mom has been keeping a couple of huge secrets from Heather, and when she discovers what they are, Heather knows what she must do. This novel picks up where the first one in the series left off. Madeline, author and new resident to Jubilee, must also make some decisions that will affect her life. This novel has the same charm as the first one, and is filled with small town camaraderie and good will. Well written with the occasional quirky character, it is quite entertaining.

I started with book 2! This is the first time I have read the author. You can read this as a standalone book so no problem with book 2 for a start. There’s enough information given with the story that is helpful.

This is a very light story and feel good book. There are real problems and things happening with the characters who have to make choices and learn about trusting. I enjoyed all the characters in the story. At the end, one character’s story is left unfinished so I’m assuming that would be book 3.

The setting is very quaint and sweet. There’s a lot of community and love between people which is just so nice. Definitely a feel good story. It is written cleanly and there’s nothing graphic described.

I listened to this through audiobook on Hoopla. I'm not sure if if their version is the same as every other audio version of this book, but I did not like how this was done at all. There was not one pause between scenes like in the book itself. Each chapter was a run-on sentence, with again, no pausing whatsoever. I've listened to many of Rachel Hannah's books and this one was so frustrating to get through. I did, however, love the story itself. I love how one character always learns a life lesson. I also love the wholesomeness of these characters. So my rating is for the story itself. The audio would get 1 star.

I loved everything about this book I love how the residents of a small town come together to help one another. The characters seem so real. They get angry with one another, give each other the cold shoulder and make up. Loved the surprise visitors in chapter 6. I didn't see that coming! Madeline is famous, but fits in with the characters so easily. And the ending.....!!!! I'm anxiously awaiting book 3!!! I will read anything that Rachel writes!! I have loved every single book!!

Over the last year I have grown to love Rachel Hannah’s books. They are clean stories of family, community and small town life. The characters are the kind of people you would love to have dinner with on Sunday. This one is even more heartfelt. When a family inn is in danger of closing a young woman steps in to try to help her mother rescue it. The way this story unfolds was just beautiful. Can’t wait for book three in this series.

Loved this story set in small town of Jubilee. Nestled in the Blur Ridge mountains. Heather takes leave from high powered job in Atlanta to visit and help out mom running the family Inn. All Tucked Inn has been in the family for 4 generations. Will Heather decide to move home or will the inn get sold when Lanelle can't keep up on her own? Will Heather meet a Stranger who changers her mind about what most important??? Read and find out.

Another good book in the series. Although the book is focused on a new storyline (daughter coming home to help run an inn) it does continue the storyline of the previous book as well. The characters are well-developed and you can almost see yourself in the story. I look forward to reading the next book in the series to see where the residents of Jubilee are going next. A good story.

Thank you to #NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

Enjoyable read, although a tad predictable. However, usually I like to read stand-alone books, not entire series, but by the time I was half way thru this book, I was checking to see if there were other books from this series at our library, because I wanted to read more. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to find that of a 5 book series, this was the only book available. I'd look forward to reading other books by this author.

Friends and Family

I am giving All Tucked Inn a five-star rating because it was an entertaining book to read about friends and family, with a little romance mixed in. I also enjoyed Dawson, Julie, and Dylan visiting from Sea Grove. I loved everything about All Tucked Inn, and I would gladly recommend it to anyone who likes to read Rachel Hanna's books about friends and family.

Fun read

This is the second book in the Jubilee series, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading as Heather and Ethan grew closer, and following Madeline and Brady's romance from book one. All Tucked Inn was saved by a mysterious benefactor, so Heather and her mom can now look forward to extending the hospitality legacy of Jubilee.

The storyline is on par with this author however the audio version is a bit rough. I'm not sure but I think it is the production more than the narrator. It seems to be sped up, almost run on sentences and virtually no pauses or stops where there should be. It almost gives the listener whiplash. I did not recall this in the 1st book; at least not as noticeable. I will now see what book 3 does.

Loved this book and can’t wait for the next one already! This book makes me want to live in a small town or at least visit for a week. I loved checking in with the original characters and meeting new ones. Also love who you wove in characters from another series!

This was beautifully written about a quaint town and it’s residents. It brought out how the towns people came to the aid of one of its own. Also should how people can be misjudged. It was an enjoyable read.

Rachel has done it again. Not only with the people becoming family but also her descriptions of the town and locations. You can close your eyes and see it all. What an ending ! Can't wait for next one!

Easy, gentle, return-to-home story. This is a second in a series. I quite enjoyed it. Found it a cozy read. I have not read the first book, but plan to do so - which I wait to for the third book to be written. I love the title of the inn - All Tucked Inn. Very clever name.

This is a great read. 2nd book in the series following Madeline in her journey as author. She is changing her writing style from big city romance to country slower pace living romances. Add in some personal romance as well as trials and good friendships makes for a good read.

We meet Madeleine and Brady again. Their relationship is growing and evolving, with the addition of Brady's sister and niece. Heather has come from Atlanta to help her mother run her inn. With the addition of the handsome Ethan, she has to decide whether to stay in Jubilee or return to Atlanta.

The story is good, but the narrator is awful. there are no pauses at the end of a sentence, paragraph or even a chapter. Your listening to Heather and all of a sudden its Madeline speaking. Maybe she got paid by how fast she read the book

Another winner‼️💯😊😊

This was Book 2 of the Jubilee Series, and I was glad to see some of the folks from Book 1. The new characters were amazing to read about, and I hope there is more from all of them in The Jubilee Series, Book 3.

Wow, this author really has a plot formula and she does not stray from it. I enjoyed the first book in the series but this one did not live up to the potential. And bringing in characters from another series did not help it in any way.

I enjoyed seeing what happens with the characters but I wish there were more details in their stories. I like a little spice with my romance like it seems Madeline writes in her books.
I’ll give the 3rd one a try to see if the story really drags me in, if not, I might not finish the series.

This is another sweet, easy read by Rachel Hanna. There’s a little drama, but no impending sense of doom or anything like that. There’s a little drama, a little bit of struggle to figure out what direction to go regarding the future, and a lot of wholesome good people stuff.
