When Emma Cotton, Kelly Grace, and members of the Nimble Thimbles group decide to embark on a quilting cruise to investigate the latest suspect in their friend's murder, they don't plan on getting mixed up in a missing person's case onboard. But thanks to Dottie Faye Sinclair, Emma's wild aunt who insists on coming along, they do. Within a day of departure, Dottie Faye's antics land her under a cloud of suspicion, forcing Emma to solve a mystery she hadn't planned on. And the surprises don't stop there.
Another cute installment. I find myself fighting not just jumping ahead to the last book since I know that will be the one they find the murderer in. The characters are consistent and spunky so i am enjoying the mad cap adventures. I think I would get rid of Dottie Fay though even if she is financing the whole investigation.

We've gotten started in this series and they're fun, but I do wish the aunt had been left at home on this voyage. Still looking to find all the books in the series.
I normally give the books in this series at least 4 stars but it soon becomes evident that this author is confused with which character has a severe fear of heights. Maybe this is due to multiple authors writing this series but it's disconcerting when a good portion of the previous book dealt with this with one character only to make that a problem for the other character in this book who previously showed no signs of sharing in that particular issue. Other than that and Aunt Dottie starting to bug me with her ignorance, I'm enjoying this series . Lol.
Emma, Kelly and Dottie are back at it. Hunting down suspect #6. This time, however, they take a cruise with some of their friends! The "suspect" is running some workshops on the ship. Dottie Faye is DETERMINED to get his DNA sample.
Emma is a little TOO focused for my liking. She's becoming obsessive, ignoring just about everything else. That's starting to get to me, but now I'm this far into the series, I can't stop. She is aggravating me, though. Doesn't seem to think about Patrick and what he's going through.
