Life is a bit of a numbers game. Four. Three. One.

Four years ago, Lizzie and Alonzo found love when they found each other. Three years ago, they solidified that love in front of their friends and family, ready to spend forever together. In one month, the happy couple will be celebrating their third wedding anniversary and as far as they're concerned, it's just another milestone on their way to happily ever after. Unfortunately, there's another number that's become an unexpected factor.

Six. That's how many years it's been since Lizzie last laid eyes on King Holden, the father of her son. Now he's back and it's clear he's on a mission to insert himself into Lizzie and Christian's lives. Alonzo and Lizzie are about to have their resolve and their family tested by the one person who seems to think he has the power to blow up both. Is King back for a second chance at not only fatherhood, but love, too? Only time will tell, but Alonzo isn't easily rattled and Lizzie won't be easily swayed. One thing for certain and two things for everyone is trying to make it to the other side of the mess to find a little bit of healing and a whole lot of love.

Yeaaaaaah i'm giving this one alll stars because I loved every single minute of it. From chapter 1 we start off with a literal bang...Lonzo and Lizzie enjoying some sexy times in ye ole office lol.

This book gave me everything: established marriage, sexy times, healthy discussions and therapy. YES. The annoying ex who got taken to task not only by Lizzie but her husband too?? Aw yesss. And the lil cutie son Christian.

I really enjoyed how Lady Marie handled King coming into their lives with his fool ass self and showing that even though he brought out Lizzie's vulnerabilities and tried to stress her and her husband tf out they talked it out and even argued at some points but still had some adult discussion.

And it think everything was summed up well in the end. So where do I find a Lonzo for myself now??

When you see Lizette Noelle Langston, know that's me. Not because of that ring on her finger and not because I beat my chest and act like a fucking caveman. It's not even because I worship that piece of heaven between her legs every chance I get. It's because every day, she wakes up and chooses to love me just as much as I choose to love her. It's because she knows I'd sooner die behind her and Christian than see either one of them hurt. Every goddamn day we love, respect, and choose one another. Ain't shit you or anybody else can do to change that."

Ooohh this was so freaking good! Just call me a Lady Marie stan at this point.

Honestly one of the things I love about Lady Marie's writing is how effortlessly she can get you to connect with different characters and her versatility when writing different story plots.

After finishing Worth It last year, I knew I wanted to read more about Makayla's siblings and this book definitely delivered.

Found Forever is Lizzie and Alonzo's story. They have been married for 3 years and Alonzo adopts Lizzie's son from a previous relationship, Christian. They're a loving successful Black family and everything seems perfect.

Until King arrives. King Holden is Lizzie's ex, and the father of Christian, who dipped after the birth of his son. Now he's trying to be a part of Christian's life, which Lizzie and Alonzo graciously agree to, but then he ends up trying to cross some boundaries.

I really loved Lizzie and Alonzo and how secure and respectful to one another they are in their marriage. They had open lines of communication and were very considerate of each other's emotions.

I also appreciated the inclusion of therapy in this story. In the Black community we are not often encouraged to go to therapy, so seeing it be brought up and included in a positive light with both Lizzie and her husband was so refreshing and definitely made the book more impactful.

This book had me in all the feels, I was screaming, kicking my feet, snapping my fingers, and highlighting like a madman.

I absolutely love love lode Lady Marie's characters DOWN. Can't wait to get to Kendall's story, I feel like that one is gonna be a tear jerker.

I got a chance to beta read this book and honestly it was like reading it for the first time with the changes that were made.

I think what I enjoyed the most about this book was that it showed that there is a place in romance for established couples. There can be tension without the relationship being in peril (cough not for Kendall and Greg). What we get to see is the next phase of the HEA. As the reader we get to see that you can still keep it exciting after the newness fades. This book is grown up, we got bills to pay, mouths to feed, go to therapy to keep it all together, but still make time to get eaten out. I also appreciated the community aspect friends and family because the world is getting bigger than the couple but the romance doesn't get lost. It just feels more realistic, like who can really just stop what they are doing to just focus on one thing. I know this is fiction so it might not sit well with all readers but I'm here for it. 🤷🏾‍♀️

When a book starts with one character having the other for lunch you know you are in for a treat! Lady Marie has given us another banger this time with the youngest Michael’s sister. Imagine planning your anniversary party when your deadbeat baby daddy decides to pop back up? That’s really where this story takes off.
Now I’m not gonna give anything away but I enjoyed every single word of this book. I’m not usually a fan of OM/YW because it can come off creepy but the way Lady Marie wrote Alonzo and Lizzie’s relationship felt so genuine. I could feel their love and passion for each other. I’m a firm believer in if the original daddy ain’t no go, go find another one no Alonzo is a TOP NOTCH “step” daddy to Christian. You cannot tell him that Christian is not his so when King, the original Daddy, pops back up trying to lay down the law he rightfully feels a type of way.
I love when what I’m reading makes me feel, and I felt all the emotions reading this book. I was happy, annoyed, confused, frustrated and surprised while reading this one. I loved seeing the Michael’s women and getting to experience their family again. I just really really enjoyed this one. Lady Marie is on book #3 and her pen is LEGIT. I can’t wait to read more!!
Go get this book…..TRUST ME!!

One thing I love about Lady Marie’s writing is that she vividly writes her character’s story, and she writes them with hella spice! 🫣

I loved Lizzie and Alonzo’s story. I don’t know that I would have had the patience of Alonzo when it came to King popping in like he did because King was wildin’ out! He was so disrespectful! However, Alonzo did keep it mature and I love that for him and Lizzie. I loved Lizzie and Alonzo’s relationship and the communication in their marriage.

I think I almost always seem to have the same comment that I wished there was a bit more when it comes to novellas. I do feel that this one wrapped up very fast at the end; however, It is a novella. It did give the closer to the story, but I would have liked just a bit more. I thinking I just didn’t want it to end. 😊

If you’re looking for a story with love, hate, some drama, and with A+ spicy time, I would recommend, picking this one up. You’ll be glued to the book and will probably read it in one sitting. But don’t forget about book 1, 𝑊𝑜𝑟𝑡ℎ 𝐼𝑡!

I really enjoyed this book! I think the Sisters & Serendipity series is my favorite of Lady Marie's work so far. I like how the story really focuses in on real issues people face. Lizzie and Alonzo are about to celebrate their 3rd wedding anniversary with a big party with all their family and their son, Christian, involved. However, Lizzie gets a call out of the blue from her bum ass baby dad, King, and this brings up a lot of feelings for everyone. I really liked how much Lizzie and Alonzo check in with each other and with Christian. I don't always like children in books, but I appreciated the parenting and communication between the family unit. I also liked the discussions on friendship and family that were included. Of course, there are also a few more sexy scenes that are always a fun time, but they also really support the deeply respectful and caring relationship between the couple. Highly recommend!

From the dedication to the epilogue, everything in this book was just beautiful.

As a single mother and hopeless romantic, I felt seen and heard. The love that Alonzo and Lizzie have for each other is so clear and mature, and their communication is tier. There are some spicy scenes, but they are not over the top and with the colorful language. Alonzo is the ideal husband who loves on his wife and stands up for her when it is needed. Lizzie is very self-aware of her feelings and emotions.

This book also has therapy sessions happening within the story and baby I need me a Dr. Kiera Brunson.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this book to others, and it has easily become one of my favorite books

Lady Marie is two for two in this series! I can’t believe I almost let this one sneak right by me. That would have been a shame because this is real grown and sexy. Found Forever is a quick read that reminds you to keep what’s important to you top of mind and don’t let anyone shake your foundation.

Seeing the love, respect and dedication between Alonzo and Lizzie is the things dreams are made of. I couldn’t imagine a better partnership than the one they shared. Goosebumps started to form every time Alonzo supported Lizzie or interacted with King. When a real man walks into the room, you recognize the fakes.

I have a feeling Kendall and Greg marriage in trouble romance is going to take me through it.

Alonzo is that guy!!

This was a fun little read. I loved the openness and ease of Lizzie and Alonzo’s relationship. They were secure in who they were both individually and as a couple and as a result, they were able to navigate the mess that King tried to dump on them.

In the end, they were able to overcome the bs and check King’s delusions. And Alonzo proved that he really was that guy and would not stand for anyone disrespecting him or his marriage, especially not a blast from the past man-child.

Grown People Read!!!!

Enjoyed this very real topic of how to re-incorporate a deadbeat into your child's life. Ion know in reality that I could be so mature or if I believe you have adults that really could have this kind of HEA with all the real feelings and emotions involved...plus the amount of unhealed people walking the earth. However, glad to see how therapy, communication and a solid marriage were huge themes in this book. Appreciate this story and the mix between hot steamy romance and real life issues!

King Ain’t The King Baby

I’m glad that Alonzo and Lizzie have such a good bond, communication skills, and understandings that couldn’t be penetrated by King with his antics. I don’t know why King thought that he would be able to pick up where he left off after leaving Lizzie and Christian the way that he did. There’s no coming back after that. I don’t know if I would’ve even given him the opportunity to get to meet Christian if it was me. I wanted so bad for Lizzie to get pregnant in this book.

Team Langston

I just knew book 2 would be about Kendall and Greg (I don’t read synopsis), but when I was it was about Lizzie and Alonzo, I was NOT expecting this book to take the turn it did! If AUDACITY GALL JONES was a person, King’s face would be plastered on the billboard advertisement. The man was a prominent resident of DELULU city, with a mansion on the corner of “STFU Ave” and “No TF He Didn’t Blvd”. But the way Big Lonzo stepped behind HIS FAMILY was beyond admirable. Team Langston FIVE-EVA!!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is my first read from the author, but not my last.

What a sweet couple and story!

King was ridiculous and yet, it wasn’t unrealistic ridiculousness. The way Alonzo and Lizzie used their tools and communicated with one another was beautiful to read. Can’t wait to experience it.

But this is the type of love story I want to experience. The girls are calling it “soft life”. Because Alonzo was big daddy and handled ish like a grown man.

Beautiful.

Great read

Loved Alonzo and Lizzie’s story! They have been married for 3 years and are raising Lizzie’s son. A perfect family until the baby daddy comes back into the picture. He definitely tries them on numerous occasions but this couple stands strong in their love. I enjoyed reading this book and that Alonzo and Lizzie have a forever kind of love.

I really felt for Lizzie and what King had put her through, especially the timing of when he left. Alonzo treated her like gold. But it did focus more on the baby daddy’s audacity and the lines he was crossing than on our actual couple. I’m definitely looking forward to Kendall and Greg’s book.

So good.

I enjoyed this story. These two were so beautiful. They didn't let nothing nor no one come between them. King was something else, but u could tell he had some issues he needed to work on. Alonzo didn't play about his family.
