This is a basic first-aid guide for the outdoors, which is expected given its size. Although basic, it covers a wide range of outdoor medical emergencies. I would recommend this to both novice and experienced nature goers.

The layout of the book makes it easy to comprehend. Signs and symptoms are clearly laid out, myths are included, and steps for treatment are complemented with illustrations - a definite plus! Situations span from extremely hot climates to very cold temperatures. A great for wilderness first aid!
