a wide variety of maps, unfortunately most of them are too small to read

For each map, the year produced and name of the map maker are given, but I'd also like to know the size of the original map.

several interesting tidbits about the state's history

Nicely stated summaries re shifting sources of revenue (gold mining, silver mining, railroads, ...)
