The first full solo collection of comics by Al Columbia, published by Tundra in 1992. It contains three short stories, two in black and white and one in full "Broken Face", "Patio Lanterns" and "Poster Child". Paul Gravett described it as "three dark, stylish tales, indebted to Bill Sienkiewicz and Dave McKean, but with hints of [Columbia's] emerging singular identity".

At the age of 19, he was hired by Bill Sienkiewicz to be his assistant on Alan Moore’s, Big Numbers.

Since then you may have seen some of his numerous other works such as Pim & Francie, Doghead, and The Biologic Show.

He is also a musician and artist.
