Claire Bretécher is simply a treasure. Hilarious, biting, sad and true in equal measures. I wish I could find good quality of some of her strips online to post in this review. The following image will have to do (it's from the back cover), it gives a decent approximation of her style.

Tämä olikin erikoinen. Itselle ranskalainen kulttuuri on aika vierasta ja omat käsitykset perustuvat varmaan lähinnä stereotypioihin. Sarjakuva antoi mahdollisuuden tirkistellä 80-luvun ranskalaista kulttuuria, vaikka tietysti tietystä vanhemmuuden näkökulmasta. Muistaakseni tässä on myös yhteiskunnallista otetta. Kaiken kaikkiaan suosittelen.

Bande dessinée découverte totalement par hasard dans une liste des X livres féministes à avoir lus… j'ai pas du tout accroché pour les premières planches : je ne trouvais pas ça drôle du tout, et je n'aime pas du tout le style graphique… trop simple et trop peu détaillé, selon moi.
Sur la fin, j'ai mieux aimé, certaines planches m'ont fait sourire… Cependant, je ne trouve pas du tout que cette BD soit un "must-have" dans sa bibliothèque "féministe"…
Il est toutefois important de préciser que la BD date de 1982...
