Basically associated with civil service but due to his unique style of narration; now widely recognised as a successful Novelist. He has been also awarded with the Bolan Award for the best drama serial ( PTV ) for his serial 'Sipaahee'

” جب جب جو جو ہونا ہے تب تب سو سو ہونا ہے “
🌟 اگر اپنے پہلے عبداللہ کے دو پارٹ پڑھیں ہیں تو آپ جانتے ہی ہونگے کہ وہ کس طرح کے ناول تھے یہ بھی اسی طرح کا ناول ہے اور تیسرا حصہ ہے
🌟 ہاشم ندیم کی کہانیاں مجھے اس لیے بے حد پسند ہیں کیونکہ جو کچھ مجھے چاہیے ہوتا ہے کسی کتاب سے وہ اس میں میسر ہوتا ہے جیسے کہ ریلوے اسٹیشن ، بارشیں ، حویلیاں ، سائنس ، علم اور کسی بزرگ کی باتیں ، یہی سب چیزیں تو ان کی کہانیوں میں انوکھی اپنائیت کا احساس دیتی ہیں
🌟 اب کی بار بھی شروعات تو کہیں ویران سڑک سے ہوتی ہے لیکن اس کہانی سنٹرل جیل سے ہی ہوتی ہے ایسے قیدیوں سے جو سزائے موت سے فرار ہو کر موت کا انتظار کر رہے ہوتے ہیں بس جگہ کا فرق ہوتا ہے ۔۔۔
🌟 کہانی میں بہت سی چیزوں کو بارے میں مختصر لیکن اچھے سے Highlight کیا گیا ہے جیسے کہ جیل کی زندگی ، جیل میں قیدی سے ملنے آنے والی بہنوں بیٹیوں کی زندگی ، میٹا فزکس ، ٹائم ٹریول ، Mind Sciences اور تقدیر کے بارے میں اچھے سے بیان ہے جہاں جو لکھا وہ ہو کر رہتا ہے یہ بات بہت اچھے سے سمجھائی ہے
🌟 حاکم بابا ، یوگی ، ظہیر ، بخت خان ، بگھا ، مدثر ، پروفیسر ، سکندر ، زہرہ اور بھی باقی کردار سب ہی کچھ نا کچھ ہمیں سکھاتے ہیں ، پھر چاہے وہ مدثر کی Mind Sciences ہو یا پروفیسر اور ظہیر کی میٹا فزکس ( میرے اپنے نزدیک جتنا مجھے علم ہے یہی لگتا ہے کہ ماضی کی تو ہم جھلکیاں دیکھ سکیں گے لیکن مستقبل میں ہم ٹریول کر سکیں گے ہاں یہ بات ماننے میں بہت مشکل لگتی ہے لیکن شاید کبھی ایسا ہو سکے ، باقی واللہ اعلم )
🌟 ہم عبداللہ کی صرف کہانی نہیں پڑھ رہے ہوتے ہم اسکے ہر سفر میں ساتھ ساتھ ہوتے ہیں کبھی پرانی حویلی میں تو کبھی کسی مزار میں ، ہم سب کے اندر ایک عبداللہ ہے شاید اسی لیے ہمیں یہ کہانیاں پڑھ کے بہت اچھا لگتا ہے
🌟 یہ ناول بالکل Recommended ہے پہلے عبداللہ 1 اور 2 پڑھیں ، آپ کو بہت سی باتوں سے اختلاف ہوسکتا ہے لیکن اگر آپ کو پرانے طرز کے ناول پڑھنے میں مزہ آتا ہے تو یہ آپ کیلئے ہے اور اگر نئے طرز کے پڑھتے ہیں پھر بھی کیونکہ اس میں دونوں ہی بیان ہیں

After dragging myself through Abdullah 1 and Abdullah 2, I still decided to give Abdullah 3 a try, hoping the final part might redeem the series. Sadly, it turned out to be just as disappointing, if not worse.
The biggest problem for me was Abdullah himself. Even after his mother’s death and his father being physically so unwell, he doesn’t stay at home. The story continues to glorify this idea of leaving behind your family in the name of “spirituality” which just doesn’t sit right with me. Instead of showing responsibility and care, Abdullah is made to look like some saint just because he’s wandering around.
Another issue is the way every single character talks. Everyone speaks in heavy philosophical lines, which makes the conversations sound forced and unnatural. It doesn’t feel like real people talking; it feels like the author is trying too hard to put “wisdom” in every sentence, and after a while, it just becomes tiring.
On top of that, I couldn’t ignore how so many parts of this book felt recycled from Hashim Nadeem’s dramas. The whole Zahra, Sajawal & Sikandar's track is almost copy pasted into Khuda Aur Mohabbat 3. Zahra marries Sajawal, he dies on the wedding day, and then his mother wants her to marry the brother. Seeing such a huge overlap made me feel like I wasn’t even reading a new story.
Overall just like the first two books, Abdullah 3 fails to deliver anything meaningful. Instead of giving a powerful or emotional closure, it feels repetitive, unrealistic, and overly dramatic. The constant forced philosophy, the recycled plotlines, and the lack of real character depth made this a very frustrating read for me and it takes me about a month to finish this book of 300 pages.

Couldn't come close to Abdullah one and two, but overall a good story. Last part of Abdullah and Zohra was kinda similar to Khuda aur mohabbat 3 ki story. After finishing previous 2 parts I was expecting something more.
