A really engaging read about the life of this actress. She died when I was only a year old but is painted in vivid tones here and this is a really comprehensive and interesting insight into her life and career. The only criticism I have is the incessant comments on how she struggled with her weight and was self-conscious - she clearly was but we don’t need reminding of it every few pages.
