I Was Lost and Now I'm Found

I Was Lost and Now I'm Found

Thanks to this guide I gained a working knowledge.of this remarkable little powerhouse, and so might you. It is clear and extensive and all I would add would be perhaps a bit more detail on methods of tossing what's on my screen to the big one in the den so everyone might see it.

I have been on iOS for years (haven't left, in fact) so I had plenty of work to do. This volume definitely made it possible. I didn't want to just muddle through with this project. nor should you.

Not enough information

I am looking for specific information on recharging the Kindle Fire HD. This subject is not addressed in the book. Very disappointing.

Great resource!

Great resource!

I found this book to be very informative with learning the power and functionality of the kindle HDX. It was well written and easy to follow. This takes over where the manual leaves out some info. I knew a lot of the tricks already, but found others that would have taken some time to find. This book is definitely worth downloading.

Great guide

I ment to give this user guide a 4-star but my fat fingers struck the 5 instead and sent it off immediately. I would give it only a 4 (or 4+) mainly because of a few typos that were confusing for a moment. The guide seems pretty comprehensive though; certainly covers all the basics. I'll need to go back through several sections as I run into problems operating my Kindle HDX.

Good Start

Most user guides cover all the basics. this book is no exception. since Amazon has decided that the user guide for the HDX is a set of help topics on the device, I needed a good user manual. this is it!
hopefully in the future (now) the author will update this guide (free) with the areas they described as Coming Soon

Tech Luddite liked this book and the 7" Kindle HDx.

Had a Nook HDplus and an accompanying manual last year for 14 days. The Nook didn't work and the manual was no great help. Brought both back on day 14 for my full refund.

By contrast, I love this Kindle and the manual helped me get comfortable with it easily and painlessly.

Easy to read

This is a great book, lots of user friendly information. I found myself using the tips and tricks as I read about them. I found on chapter on highlighting and bookmarks awesome and used it a lot with the information that was provided. Can't wait to get their book on the best apps.

A must for Fire Users

I'm new at using the kindle. This book was exactly what I wanted. I could manage the HDX right out of the box since I am very experienced with computers, but I would have missed out on a lot of neat things if not for this book. It is well written and seems to cover everything I could hope for.

I find this book extremely helpful on an ongoing basis.....it packs a lot of information in a comparatively small amount of space

.....being nearly 80 years old I find my memory a bit lacking and the fact that I can find things quickly is a big plus - plus there's a gotta stuff in this little package.....

Simple and fun to read, this manual gets you ready to use your new device in no time. What's nice about this ebook is that when it references links you can be directed right to them my pressing on the title.

Extremely helpful.

This is a short but very informative book. Easy to understand. I'm sure I will refer to it often.

Only suggestion, maybe explain what an app is in the beginning of book .

Good tips

There were some good tips here, but it doesn't seem to be updated for all the HDX features. It almost reads like an ad for the kindle.

Really good usable help in easy to read format.

Easily readable, very informative. I was nicely surprised that this was not the technical manual I thought it was. Thank you!
