This is such a good book, if you find a copy just buy it. The historical photos are insane and make me wonder if they exist in any other forms anywhere.
There was a time when if you wanted to know anything about a town you could just ask a banker. They would tell you what was being funded and had a whole picture of what the local economy was like. That is what this book remembers
