Super quick read - highlighted a TON of the book. Wish it were a bit more practical in terms of examples and exercises that Steve uses in his workshops.

I found this book to be extremely beneficial to me. At the time I was reading this book, I was involved in a Network Marketing company; So, I needed to work on my listening skills so that I could share with people the benefit my product had to offer them, based on what they shared with me. I've heard it said that the more you listen to others, the more they will seek your approval. I've also heard that whoever listens most usually controls the situation. Just some tid-bits of wisdom for the future...

In closing, "Listening is like picking fruit from a tree. Sometimes you get a bad piece of fruit. Sometimes mediocre, and sometimes you get the juiciest, ripest piece. But you only get to the good fruit by picking fruit. If you don't pick any fruit, you don't get bad fruit or good fruit."

Enjoy the book.

This one's a quick read. Can be applied to other areas in life aside from network marketing. Highly recommend for anyone starting up in the network marketing business.
