Encouraging and insightful. Definitely brought some buried wounds to the surface of my heart but good to address the situation and move on! Highly recommend this book to have a better understanding of God’s purpose and desire for women

Reading this book with some girl friends was a great experience! We bonded over discussions of this book and our relationships with God, and that time was so well spent.

Objectively, I would say this book is a little frumpy. The prose is a very specific flavor of older eccentric Christian lady from the 90s or 2000s. Because of that, if you are 35 or below, I wouldn’t recommend reading alone! Firstly, the examples used are definitely dated. Secondly, it takes a lot of deciphering meaning that one may not be able to attain alone! I also wouldn’t take all of the words at face value, they require deeper thought to avoid offense or alienation. Personally, I would love something with the same message written for a younger, more modern woman.

The passages written from John were hit or miss. Sometimes I appreciated the male perspective, other times, I really wish Stacy would have delivered his point.

Overall enjoyed and am invigorated to continue reading and spending time pursuing God alongside dear friends.

I loved this book. Thoughtful, insightful, engaging and inspiring, this is an excellent exploration of what it means to be created as a woman. It celebrates women, womanhood, femininity and the feminine genius God created us to have. This book liberated me from years of feminist oppression and hatred in 10 short sessions. Highly recommend for anyone who is interested in the truth of your life as a beloved daughter of the Creator King.

Sometimes I read books that correlate to the season I'm in which means I'm saturated in the same theme...and it's beautiful and repetitive. Happened to me with this book. Very good, a bit slow and repetitive. Need to shake things up now and return to fiction!

exactly what I needed to read!

This one is good!!!!! It untangles so much of a women's heart which was the purpose of this book. Well done! Well done!
I love reading things that make me ask questions.
