As if taking over the Ravens wasn’t going to be complicated enough, Jynx has already taken a job for the leader of the Romanos, and of course, it can’t be straightforward.

I was so disappointed in this book. It had been a while since I read the first two books but I recall enjoying them. So I had relatively high hopes for this one and man did it suck. It felt like it was written by somebody completely different.
The chapters were split up in odd ways. One literally ended mid conversation and only for said conversation to end about a page into the next chapter then it was off to something different. There was a lot of let's make a plan amd talk about every insignificant detail then literally do everything they just talked about. The spice was lackluster and practically nonexistent, like did you forget you wrote a reverse harem here? And I can't even count how many times they had the same convo about Gerald not sharing the Grandma's secrets. Dude...we get it.
Here she is set up to be the head of a criminal organization which had such potential! And it was all housekeeping and downsizing. Every time "trouble" arose it was solved with minimal effort or interest. They were oddly preoccupied with sleep, like unusually so. Slept all the way there, be there for an hour, then let's get some sleep guys...like what????
There were far too many characters that didn't need to be there and in no way added to the storyline. The dialog came across oddly stilted and full of pointless page filler-esque rambling.
The only redeeming part of the book came at the end and even it was far fetched and of course left it in a cliff hanger. Sheer morbid curiosity will probably get me to read the next book bit I'm kinda loathe to do so. What a let down.

Kindle. The way the books pick up is like you just turned the page on the exact same scene/moment it left on which I liked, no getting back into the flow of the storyline it just continued.
I enjoyed the plot so far the most in this book of the series probably because it provided more answers. With also more focus on the relationship building between Jynx and her men. Overall it felt more focused plot wise compared to the first two books.
It also included some fun over the top drama twists that I liked. Problem solution pace continued to be at a quicker pace which I preferred especially with so much drama.
It was a quick easy read that kept me entertained and enthralled/intrigued enough for me to want to finish and further continue on to the final book and finish the series - get all the answers.
Still had some writing/grammar errors but the plot made up for it more in this book for my preferences.
Gonna bump my rating to four for entertainment purposes. I felt the plot was the strongest it’s been and built up to a good storyline despite the writing flaws that continued to be present.

Excellent!
I love this Broken Kings series, Lynx is a smart-mouthed, tough bad-ass, and her harem of guys arbitrary cool too.
After taking over the Ravens and then discovering some clues to get heritage,, Jynx and her guys head off to the guy's home town to confront their parents, after taking care of some business in New Orleans first when Mica is attacked.
There, further shocks and surprised await then.
Another action packed, fun and enjoyable read. I highly recommend this series, and pretty much all books written by Nikita Parmenter that I have read so far. Excellent!!!

Aaaahhhhh
That ending! This book has had me shouting No f#?@!& Way so many times! Jynx and her guys are the best but I just love how the author brings this and her other stories together! I love that it answers questions I had from the other books, but it is so interesting that I didn't want to put it down. I waited to start this series because I knew how impatient I am, and am truly kicking myself because of how much more I love Jynx now compared to before. I am now impatiently waiting for the last book. I do recommend this series as Jynx is a total BA. This is one I will reread often just like the Finding Home series.

Ok
So, I've really enjoyed the series until this book. I started losing interest because everything that happened seemed too easy and unnecessary for the plot in general. While there's nothing wrong with this book, I kind of had to roll my eyes at some of the things that happened. Also, this is the first time I've thought that Jynx has lost some of her "bad". I'm not saying she had to be evil, but in her world she wouldn't behave the way she is behaving and survived it. I won't say more so I don't ruin the book for you. I feel like most of this book was unnecessary for the plot to continue.

WARNING! CLIFFHANGER! This is more hook than hang, but it's definitely traumatic, rating a 5/5 on my scale (even if I was expecting it).
Lots happening for Jynx et al. in this one, as the team deal with new business ventures, kidnappings, and finally start to investigate the issues with their families.
It's a fast paced, continuation of the tale so far, and as I've said before, suspend belief and enjoy the ride- it's an entertaining story especially if escapism is what you're looking for. Most issues are quickly (maybe a bit too easily at times) resolved, making it a relatively low angst but fun read, with a few spicy scenes.

Rise, the third book of the Brokan Kings series, is an ebook I borrowed through Kindle Unlimited (KU). This potential 5-star read is down-graded for lack of editing (although, she did a fine job of spell-checking). Will I read more? Yes, the story is excellent, if not outlandish, but I don't think I'll read anything after that unless this writer gets a proper editor. The run-on sentences and grammar are too distracting and spoil the flow. Thank goodness for KU, as I would have stopped at the first chapters of book one and requested a refund if I'd paid for the book.

A definite must read
Wow so many revelations in this book and the ending was slightly shocking. Loved the story and once again Nikita Parmenter has written a fantastic story.
Jynx and the guys were entertaining as usual, love the interactions between them all, especially seeing Jynx being kickass but also emphatic. Quite a few questions are answered and others are hinted at. I really need to read the next book in the series.

I KNEW IT!
I won’t spoil ANYTHING!! But I knew it and I love it!! That cliffhanger was everything and I need the next book now!!!! Omg! Jynx continues to be my favorite girl!! (Tied with Ever of course) and her guys are just so delicious! I love that we get more answers in this book and we meet even more new characters!! As always the plot is amazing and the story continues!! I love this series sooooo much!!

Love love love
As per usual, Nikita you sucked us into the story and took us on an journey. I love Jynx and her men. Having the back story regarding them. I absolutely love getting answers to so many questions I had in Finding My Home. I love learning more about Evers past along with the others from her books. Can't wait to see what happens next for everyone.

awesome book absolute must read
This whole book was nuts . Not stop craziness one thing after another but it was awesome. We get meet some old friends and discover lots of hidden secrets but the ending takes the cake .

Super annoyed that this ended in a cliffhanger as it said it was book 3 of 3. I think authors should state at the beginning of a series how many books the series will have so we can decide when we will read

If you like action with a great plot,characters that you can relate to cheer on and yell at this Author is one of the best.I have yet to pick up a book from Nikita that has impressed me. The story pulls you in an takes over till you can get enough. Fantastic work.

Omg wow this was an amazing addition to Jynxs story and yes!! I got answers and shit to stuff I had figured out ahead of time that was confirmed. But wow that cliffhanger, I can't wait til the next book is out to see what happens next!

I like a good, dark criminal organisation trope. This one had the potential to be that, however it started to drift into evil secret society conspiracy territory. Which has been done. A lot. And done a lot by this author too. The first book was definitely the best.

This book gives us so much more depth to Jynx and her mens story that definitely can't wait for the last. Jynx has tge perfect balance to what she wants to do and the responsibilities that she takes on. Love the mystery and discoveries we get in this book

Woah. There was a lot going on in this book and lots of new characters too. The ending was quite predictable, but it’s a fun and enticing read anyway.
