I’m more confused about how to read crochet patterns than ever, but I’ve comfirmed what I remembered from my grandmother’s lesson about a basic double stitch is right. The one morsel of thought from the book is that even if I do something wrong, as long as I like how it looks, I should keep it. Done and done!

Bought this book as I am 'cack handed'. British term for someone clumsy at holding things. It's very good and still working my thru' it.
