The book is very simple and straightforward. Super easy to understand if you are curious about commodities investing and how that market works this book is a great introducing resource
It gives you broad ideas on how to invest in commodities, different investment vehicles and so on.
I think this book is not enoch equipment to start investing in futures, you need to dig deeper and have more complex concepts. If you want to jump into futures, i suggest you to read more books are practice.
Is definitely worth reading once again if you are new to commodities, want to jump in and don't know how
It is very basic understanding of the commodities markets and the different things that are traded within it. Though it has some information on trading I do not think this book is good foe that. It is a good place to jump off into specific areas as it it seems having a single book covering the investing of various commodities would not be possible because of how the various futures contracts work.
It's a good book but just to flip through. Chapter 13 was the most interesting, where futures and options were explained. Really enjoyed the explanation!
