They called him Project Iceman. The U-2 pilot who, incredibly, hadn't aged since the day his top-secret mission went south into the Arctic Ocean...45 years ago. Biologist Diana Remington had the duty of monitoring the scientific marvel, but her OMEGA objective was to learn from the fiercely guarded flyboy what had happened during that fateful flight.
From his buzz cut to his June Cleaver ideal of women, Major Charles Stone should have riled Diana's defenses. Instead, she ached for all that he'd lost...and welcomed his heated touch despite the rules -- and the risk. Because someone seemed determined to let sleeping spies lie -- forever....

What an exciting premise, that the hero, an Air Force pilot, is thawed out of ice after 45 years! AND he doesn’t believe anything the scientist tell him about the because he’s convinced that they are Russians trying to get nautical secrets out of him! Lovelace did a lot of good research for this book. It is filled with fascinating aspects about the Air Force and toxicology.
Pilot frozen in ice for 45 years falls in love with feminist secret agent scientist. just as ridiculous as it sounds and very hard to believe but entertaining for most of it.
Continues to be an excellent series and this entry held a great mystery that kept this reader in the dark until nearly the very end. The hero was a 1940s/50s kind of guy for obvious reasons and I loved the heroine who didn't pretend or protest too much.
