a medical thriller come love story. hated how it ended but loved every charecter. good character development of each of the main characters.

The story is of Pihu Malhotra, the only daughter of her parents, ambitious to become a doctor, after topping all india medical exam, gets into a medical school to find out just after 3 months that she has ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) in which your limbs stop working one after another leading to slow death, it's usually found in people of older age but she is a rare case.
After being diagnosed she spend 2 3 months at home, with her condition worsening and her reading every research and article to find that clinical trial for ALS is going on in KGL hospital, where Dr. Armaan (an extra ordinary genius, rich, coming from family of doctors and a rude cocky doctor) is on board. She emails her 1, 2,3 and a multiple times but never get an answer, email her lastly thinking of it as her last email to him because she got bedridden by then, also got bed sores but luckily she receives a reply to it. Dr. Amaan send her a medicine of 3 months to use at home, which improves her condition, but after symptoms of relapse, she is asked to get admitted in KGL hospital Mumbai.
Her whole family move there, she get in Room 509, with another patient named dushyant (who had an ex named Kajol, show he was obsessed about, but due to him being abusive and one time attempting to rape her, she leaves him, after that he gets worse on taking more drugs that he already used to) due to which his liver gives up. Dushyant meanwhile come across another intern doctor Zahra Mirza, they kinda begin to like eachother.
Anyways, Pihu falls in love with Armaan as he is very nice to her, even becomes her first kiss when she tells him that she is 19 and never been kissed, later he takes her on date. She diagnoses Dushyant condition too which saves his life. To save pihu life Dr. Armaan perform an illegal surgery on her for her sake to save her, which hasn't yet been approved. But she doesn't show any sign of improvement but just get worse, she is being prepared for another surgery to reverse the procedure of first surgery meanwhile Dr. Armaan gives her, his great grandmother, gold diamond pendant because it was meant for his beautiful wife someday (Armaan says). She is taken to the theatre for surgery Armaan says I love you, my beautiful wife.

But pihu never makes out of OT alive, donates her organ to Dushyant, who in begin use to hate her but later develop a good bond with her and is sorry for being mean to her.
Her death immensely impacts everyone and Armaan says when her heartbeat went straight and doctors were not able to revive her he is sure that she still gave him a smile in his last moment.
& he stood in morgue in front of his casket because she was scared of darkness.

Pihu a 19 years old fell for a guy decade older than her, and made a love story but left him longing for her.

The story of multiple plots and 4 people from different walks of life, Pihu a bright student suffering from ALS was under Dr.Armaan and Dushyant a spoilt alcohol abuser under Dr.Zarah, and both become roomates in the hospital and Pihu was the one who diagnosed what is wrong with Dushyant as one fight he fall from bed and broken his arm, Pihu is motivation of the there room, a girl full of life and positive thoughts, and Dushyant was that typical creep who after break up fall for alcohol, Dr.Zarah is suffering for his past and Dr. Armaan is also taking baggage of his past, but later fall for Pihu and Dr.Zarah for Dushyant Armaan past which he put baggage is a 3 carat diamond ring in his neck chain, and Dushyant and dr.Zarah have same condition at home both have distances from there parents due to various reason and gap, but the ending of the novel a tragedy comes to us in the form of Pihu but she find a love for herself in Dr.Armaan which is also a happy ending for her. An emotional set up of hospital romance is good to read.

A bit of frictional but extremely good climax
