The book looks at:
- Signs of a cluttered mind
- Changing the mindset
- Secondary consequences of a cluttered mind
- Identifying triggers
- Living environment
- Procrastination
- Forming positive habits
- Passions and hobbies
- A healthy routine
- Transformation

The book starts with identifying the signs of a cluttered mind and asking questions before explaining the harmful results, and every chapter has a checklist review. The book is structured so headings can be located when readers want specific advice, for example. This is a very good read for making the time to declutter mentally and a living environment: a tidy house for a tidy mind.

Honestly, reading this showed me that I'm actually doing quite well. I thought I might have a cluttered mind, but it's really just some occasional overthinking. Slay!

If I was in a darker place, I don't think I would have made it through this book. The information and advice was delivered so bluntly and in sweeping generalizations. I prefer seeing references and results from studies proving the statement to be true, but I guess I shouldn't have expected that from an author who is not an expert in the field.

Overall, some good tips here, but you're likely already doing some, if not most, of them.

A very quick self-help read. It's filled with practical tips and not too heavy on references (if that's a preference). It's like reading a lengthy article on decluttering. As what the subtitle says, it's simple. But just like any self-help, it's the work to be applied in real life that makes it work and an effective book.

A quick, easy read while on the plane.

I thought its simplified form was nice and her tips easy to apply in everyday life. Not much was new to me, but I took it as a quick review and reminder.
