"Jesus came to redeem us from spiritual death. Adam was banished from the tree of life through rejecting God's Word. But according to Revelation 2:7, all who now accept and obey the Word of God are brought back to the tree of life." (Kenneth E. Hagin, Redeemed from Poverty, Sickness, and Spiritual Death)
This book is a short read with only 3 chapters in it. It focuses on:
1. Redemption from the Curse of Poverty
2. Redemption from the Curse of Sickness
3. Redemption from the Curse of Spiritual Death
He begins by explaining how Christ has redeemed us from every curse of the Law, according to Galations 3:13, 14, 29:
So what exactly is "the curse of the Law" that God has redeemed us from? To know this we must go to the Law to find out. He says, "The expression 'the Law' as found in the New Testament usually refers to the Pentateuch, the first five Books of the Bible. As we go back to the books-or the Law-we find that the curse, or punishment, for breaking God's law is threefold: poverty, sickness, and spiritual death." Samples of these curses can be found in Deuteronomy 28:15-22, 27-29, 35, 58-61. According to this Scripture, if we hearken to the voice of God; to do His commandments and His statutes; blessings shall come upon us; however, if we do not hearken, we can expect curses to come upon us. The good news is Christ has taken all our curses on the cross. We are no longer cursed, but blessed to be be a blessing!
This book shows us how through the finished work of Christ, we have been redeemed from poverty, sickness and disease. The Author dissects each of these redemption's in detail, and provides his own personal stories of being delivered, as well as others who have had these revelations.

Christ has redeemed us from these things, and we are the seed of Abraham and heirs. In other words, what God had promised Abraham, He has promised us! To know what Abraham was promised, we must study the Word of God to find out! Thank you Jesus.

I am only going to rate one of Kenneth Hagin's books, this being one of my favorites, just because I would never have the time to rate all of the books that I have read. With that being said, I believe that Kenneth E. Hagin is by far one of the greatest teachers! I really enjoyed this book, because it is so Biblically sound and so faith building!

This book looks at the importance of God's love to make faith work as well as the need for us to hope for faith to give substance to our hope.It tells us that human love according to the writers bible interpretation can turn to hatred overnight but God's love can't.The writer quotes 1Corin 13:4-8 of the Amplified to say love is "not jealous and is kind and patient".This to my mind strenghten the fact that the bible doesn't encourage promiscuity or polygamy whether for the man or woman with several wives or husbands.It is an admonition or disposition to believe nothing bad about anyone though this is contradictory in itself except allowed for a probe but does the writers view allow for a probe?It is one that encourages trust positively if all parties on earth are truly kind and patient and encourages negatively trust where parties on earth are unkind calling for ones probe of their unkindness and rape.The writer speaks of aiming for God's love.The love of Christ and salvation which takes us from death to life,from spiritual death to eternal life as born again and makes the born again a new(earn hue) creature,their spirits having being recreated.According to the writer,God's love forgives(Fore-gives to benefit you(both you and the hue with hue as prefix for human).It preaches keeping our hearth right and walking in love to receive from God by receiving your healing(HE-LEE-IN/INN).It tells us to judge ourselves so we won't be judged by being sure we are doing the right thing ourselves.It tells us to love our enemies or sinners(sceners or sea-nas with na for go in ikwerre language in Nigeria or sea-inas with Ina for mother in ijaw) or those that are enemies of the cross of (

Awesome read!! I have never been one to like non-fiction or spiritual books, but I enjoyed this book so much I’m wondering what happened. The book edified me so much and was a serious eye opener for me. I always looked forward to picking it up and usually slept off at night while reading it, because it was just too sweet for me to intentionally drop 😆. The Author shared Godly truths by intertwining it with stories and a lot of personal experiences.

How you can be led by the Holy Spitit is the best book I have read on the subject of the Holy Spirit and hearing and listening to the Spirit.
Chapters are short, everything is clearly written with lots of guiding scriptures.
If you do everything Brother Hagin discusses in this book, you will definitely get one step or several steps closer to hearing from God and being led by the Spirit.

I have read this before, but decided to read it again. It sat on my “to read” stack of books for six months. I am so glad I picked it up today…it was indeed “a word in season” (Proverbs 15:23; Isaiah 50:4). A timely reminder that God’s will is to bless His children.

Unfortunately, this is a "name it and claim it"/seed offering type of theology. I didn't realize Kenneth Hagin was considered the founder of the Word of Faith movement until after flipping through this book.
