Yeeees!!! Read the book! Everybody! It's just 28 pages and oh so worth it!! It will encourage you to put God first! Read it! It's quick and only $3.00 on Amazon! It's worth it!
Keeping this on my nightstand!! It’s a small little book about letting Christ into your heart (your home). Loved this as deeply resonated & challenged me in my faith 🤍
Best “book” I’ve read in a while. Want to get it for everyone I know!
The imagery of Jesus waiting for me everyday by the fire makes me teary both in sitting with His consistency, patience and affection for me and conviction for the days I walk right past Him because I didn’t make time for my Creator who sits and waits and forgives me every time I make my way back.
The author does a fabulous job of putting into tangible terms what it's like to invite Christ to live in your heart. I enjoyed the imagery and clearness with which I could see it. This is a book I intend to read at least 1x/year, as a "refresher course" to living life with Christ at the center and in charge.
I recently shared "My Heart, Christ's Home" with some church members, and I revisited this allegorical piece focused on Christ taking residence in a believer's life. Yes, it is a bit sentimental, but I believe it does a fairly good job of portraying the difference the presence Christ can and should make in our daily lives. An excellent discussion starter that should be read a copy of times to digest. Tolle Lege!
This is a short read that paints a lovely word picture of what it means to truly make Christ your Lord. It would be a lovely book to recommend to new believers and those who may be struggling to let go of certain things that are keeping them from experiencing the kind of joy you can have when walking in close fellowship with Jesus.
This was a beautiful short story! It was about 28 pages but the message was clear. This little book has great biblical and godly reminders for our every day lives. It helps us to stop and think about if we are really letting God into each part of our lives, and is something I will continue to come back and read throughout my life!
I remember really liking this little book, which uses a simple metaphor to explain discipleship. Unfortunately, it doesn't hold up well over time, and I found it a little trite in this reading.
Short read but beautiful read! Such a good reminder, highly recommend this to anyone it is short and a sweet reminder of what it means for Christ to dwell in your heart.
Short, sweet and to the point. A lovely illustration of asking Jesus into our hearts and him graciously cleaning out that which is unclean and making a home for himself in our hearts.
