I don’t know why I have this, but it’s glib, formulaic nonsense — as in no sensible person believes these are true stories. Mysterious interventions by the unseen or unseeable probably can be explained by natural phenomena but if these are true stories, let’s take a look at the details — like last names, locations and witnesses. Oh, wait. There aren’t any.
I thought this book was interesting, and I do believe in angels. The problem is I thought it seemed to not flow very smoothly from story to stor. I’m glad I read it.
This is a good book for Christian readers who want to know more about the messengers of heaven. It is filled with twelve stories of angelic encounters. It's an easy reader for young/mature adults. And it's a good break from all these stories of ghosts and demons we are bombarded with these days on TV and movie theaters.
I was disappointed in the structure of the book. It's just a bunch of random stories where angels are involved, written from a third-person point of view. It has nothing from the main character, none of the stories tie into each other, and overall reads like it could be a book of pure fiction.
