19 books7 followersWhen I was five years old my kindergarten teacher asked the class to write a poem about our favorite color. I looked up from my paper into the blue eyes of my first crush and wrote my first poem.
At ten years old I decided it was time to write a book of poetry. I wrote my poems in black marker, made copies, stapled the pages together and passed them out to whoever would take one.
In 2005 I self-published a book of my poetry with the Canadian company Trafford Publishing.
My accomplishments include a B.A. in Rhetoric/Communications from University of California, Davis and an M.A. in Education from San Francisco State.
