Tim Trujillo is about to learn a whole lot more than a few facts about his heritage as a snow leopard shifter. All Dr Tim Trujillo had in mind when he took the position with the Snow Leopard Conservation Programme in Mongolia was to see if he could learn anything about his heritage. Snow leopard shifters sure weren’t native to Colorado, his home state, and though his family was learning more about shifters in general as various cousins found their mates, Tim wanted to know more about where his kind came from, and what made them the way they were.He hadn’t counted on destiny intervening in the form of one very fine snow leopard shifter. Otto Marquat is a native to the Land of the Blue Sky, as Mongolia was sometimes called. But there in a country so far from his own, Tim finds more than his heritage. He finds adventure, cruelty, friendship, pain—and love so strong and unbreakable it will turn his world inside out.
I am a married mom of four who spends most of the day writing, either on stories or at the blog. I love to write as much as I love to read. I am generally quiet and laid back, choosing to let things slide off me rather than stick and irritate me.
And it's really hard trying to think of descriptives for myself, so I'll just let y'all e-mail me or comment at the blog if there's something specific you'd like to know, and spare you from reading a boring bio:D
I was looking forward to this third story in the 'Leopard's Spots' series by Bailey Bradford because I was very curious to see what kind of differences there would be in mating a shifter of your own kind. The other two stories involved a snow leopard with either a cougar or a wolf, but here, Tim is traveling to Mongolia to work for a conservatory and he meets other snow leopards, one of whom is his mate. I was also intrigued about getting more background on Tim's family that was slaughtered there so long ago. I was thinking this would be another fun, sexy read and I wasn't disappointed.
Tim is the scholarly member of the Colorado snow leopard clan, cousin to Levi and Oscar, and he's come to Mongolia to spend twelve weeks working for the Snow Leopard Conservation Programme in hopes of getting more information about the animal, itself, but also hoping he can get some answers about shifters and his family, too. It comes as a shock that the doctor who started the program and whom Tim is working with, is mated to a snow leopard shifter. The bigger shock, however, is that his son, Otto, is Tim's mate.
Otto has spent his life tracking poachers and bringing them to justice for their crimes against the leopards. Otto has always wanted to find his mate, to find the love his parents have. He just never dreamed it was possible since he is gay. Now that he's found Tim, though, a poacher out to harm Otto has put both of them in a dangerously precarious position. Getting out alive while still bringing justice down on their quarry is their main priority.
This has actually been my favorite of the books in the series that I have read. The writing was more concise, the plot was detailed without going overboard, and the characters had a lot of depth. Plus, Tim and Otto definitely had the hottest, most intense and very visceral scenes that left me practically needing a cold shower. Whew. Definitely a book I would re-read and recommend.

Well, it was nice to read something again with an actual story to tell. Plus this book did a lot better than my expectations after the first two volumes suggested.
Even so, I got bored during the sex scenes. It wasn’t even bad sex. Maybe I am simply overfed with the repetitive nature of the subject in general. So each time they went for another round of the hot and sweaty nature my mind began to drift. That way I almost missed that the book had ended. Embarrassing, that.
I probably should really read something entirely different for a while. Hell, I might even need to switch language, just to freshen up.
Timothy (Leopard's Spots #3) by Bailey Bradford 4 stars M/M Shifter Romance and Mystery Triggers: Stalking, Murder I was given this book for an honest review by Wicked Reads.
Tim and Otto are a great couple. You have the big guy, Otto who instantly knows why he's attracted to the smell of a stranger that he sees on the street.
Tim is more academic looking and has always felt a little off kilter - he is small for his family and knows it. He has come East to find out if he can uncover more about his heritage. What he didn't expect was to find his mate.
I really enjoyed these two. I thought that they tore the sheets up, but it wasn't overly done. Also, the way that they worked together, built each other up and protected everyone around them that they cared about was great.
I hope that Otto and Tim's friends get the next book, as I think it would be super funny.
Have to admit 3 stars only for old times sake. Loved this series in my early shifter romance days but this revisit by reading the next part after a really long break was disappointing. Too many statements too less showing, annoying second characters and sex instead of emotions. Were the other parts the same and I just didn't know better or is this one an exception?

Exciting mm paranormal adventure romance with typical shifter mating plot. It had enough additional twists to be interesting. Takes place in Mongolia. Typos: abbreviation used in prose (Drs,), some run on sentences with commas instead of periods, missing apostrophe (gods favored ones).
I have really started to enjoy this series, and it seems like with each book I read, I enjoy it more and more. One thing that I did enjoy about this one is that Tim and Otto are halfway across the world from the rest of Tim’s family, so the story was more focused on them. It was really cool to find out that yes, there are other shifters out there besides Tim’s family, which is what they had believed. To be able to learn more about the shifters, and their history from Otto’s family was awesome. The author does a great job with all the characters in this story, even the secondary ones. There was enough information given about them that made it easy to follow who was who, and what relationship they had with each other. Each of the characters brought into the story had a purpose, they weren’t just thrown in there for no reason. I do like how the author added the drama that takes place, because it just adds something extra to the story. It’s not just a story that is fully of sex, there is plenty more added to it that just kept me turning the pages. And trust me, there is plenty of action and suspense happening during the story that kept me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. I do enjoy how even though the sex that takes place in the story is written extremely well, it’s not rude, crude or socially unacceptable. That’s not the authors focus when it comes to her stories. They add plenty of other information to it. I really can’t wait to read the next book in the series. I’m wondering what everyone is going to do with all the information that Tim and Otto have found from what they were dealing with.

I'm so pleased that this book is, thankfully, lacking the consistency errors that have been plaguing many of the Bailey Bradford books that I have read recently.
There was a lot of action and a lot of sex. I would have liked a bit more of Timothy achieving his goal of learning more about his species for his family. I also would have really liked to meet Timothy's family and see them meet Otto.
Straight Cowboy is a great story about Josh, a cowboy/wilderness guide who awakens to the fact that he may be gay. More to the point: he can’t stop thinking about Matt, his newest client, who wants to take photos of wild Mustangs.
I'm liking this series more and more. The setting for this book was somewhere in Mongolia.. .lol I liked this book a lot. But Tims bff Dane begins a relationship with Ottos bff and I'm really wanting to read their story! I don't think they will be part of tHis series if at all :(
Bradford's writing is dull and uninspired. These stories just couldn't hold my interest for long. Thankfully, they were short, so there was that. Had they been any longer, I would've given up. Hell, I did give on #5...
Not my favourite story. But brilliantly written. Lots of action. And a different location to keep the story from getting stale. Off to find the next story :-)
Fairly formulic shifter story with a whole lot of insta-love. I did like the setting in Mongolia, the MC's were likeable, and the sex plentiful. So I give it a solid 3 stars.
1.5✨ There wasn’t much of a real story. It wasn’t the best, but wasn’t bad...and then it just ended. It felt like there was a chapter or two missing from the end of the book.
