Out of Ashes: Poetry by Adam Hartshorn

Rate this book
Light-hearted and yet poignant, Adam Hartshorn garnishes his honeyed words with organic watercolor illustrations. There is an irresistible rhythm to his freeverse that nods to both the transcendence of Robert Frost and the lyrical complexity of Eminem. Out of ashes celebrates the every-day awkwardness and bummers from which we squeeze out the fertilizer for our personal growth.

Adam is such a talented poet! And so kind, I received his book for free. Some poems made me laugh, but all of them made me think deeply. He has an incredible mind and is very skilled with words!! 4 stars only for some formatting issues and typos!:)
