Theresa has seen the girl’s fate in a shocking vision. Refusing to accept what appears to be certain, Theresa resolves to find the mythical cure for second sight. But she needs help. Unfortunately, in a town where heroes are few and far between, Theresa is left with Elijah Stane, a drunken wretch up for one last great adventure. On a journey rife with peril, Fable’s™ most powerful seer discovers that altering fate is no easy task. And the choices Theresa must make will haunt her . . . perhaps to the grave.

Theresa has always been a favorite character of mine, ever since the first 'Fable,' so when I stumbled upon this, I just had to get it, especially because it also happens to be by one of my favorite authors.
For being so short, it certainly doesn't lack in any detail, and Peter David gives us a fascinating look into the unique way that Theresa 'sees' the world.
The character of the fallen Hero, Elijah Stane, is also deep and well-developed for such a brief role. This short story is definitely a fine addition to the mythos of Albion, and I definitely look forward to reading the ones about Reaver and Jack of Blades.
Theresa is easily the weakest of Peter David's three Fable ebooks. While it's initially interesting to read a story from the perspective of a blind person with preternatural sight, the plot quickly becomes a straightforward quest with an ending you can see coming from a mile away. As an ebook short story it's pretty inexpensive though, so if you really like Theresa or need to read everything Fable, this won't set you back too much.
Theresa has always been a favorite character of mine from the original Fable game. After having read, and enjoyed, Peter David's short story about Jack of Blades I was eagerly awaiting this one's release. It did not disappoint.
Theresa has been drawn to a town with a small girl suffering from a surprising ailment - she is also a seer. However Theresa sees the sad fate that the girl will not survive her growing powers much longer. There is a slim possibility of finding a cure, but the journey isn't likely to be pleasant, and certainly won't be easy.
From vivid descriptions that give great connection to how the blind Theresa observes the world so well to the benefits and drawbacks to pieces of her gift, Peter David really brings the character to life over the course of this adventure. The story itself is nicely layered, particularly for the length, and engaging throughout, in no small part due to Theresa's default bodyguard Elijah Stane and his own intriguing story arc.
A great revisit to the world of Albion that adds some nice depth to an established character and examines some of the limits and strengths of "seeing" to great effect.
This is a story of Theresa's adventure to help a young girl who's visions of the future are slowly driving her insane. It was very intriguing to learn more about Theresa, even if it was only a little; and it was a bit sad because the girl's cure didn't come cheap. It was a short read, but a very entertaining one.
Okay, this was actually better than I expected - Theresa is one of my favorite things about the Fable series and I liked the style of this story, her having to make a difficult decision (like is often required in the games) and how there's a consequence for every decision.
I didn't like this story as much as I liked the Jack of Blades one, however this one really helps you understand how Theresa sees the world, giving you more insight into how her powers work. I also liked how the story was set out, that she had to choose between a "good" and a "bad" option like the games, both having unwanted consequences.
This short Story is beautifully written definitely worth the little amount paid to read. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in the Videogames . The Back Stories to these Characters are Full of exciting information!!!
Very cool short story, definitely fills out her character a lot more! If you've played the games you may end up reading this in her voice, I know I did!
